5. 2012 Challenge
Develop an integrated marketing communications campaign to launch an
all-new Chevrolet vehicle to the target audience in urban city centers
across Canada by using the following channels:
• New media/digital/event/guerrilla/social/viral/mobile/experiential
• Traditional media in its new avatar
Requirements:
• Budget: $5,000,000 (maximum)
• Timing: Fall 2012
Campaign must:
• Be executable in all major Urban centers in Canada
• Be executable and relevant in English and French
• Include integrated multicultural elements/tactics/strategies – ensure the
changing demographics of today’s Canadian Cities are reflected
• Use realistic costs for budgeting

Phase 1: The Elevator Pitch
DEADLINE: January 23rd, 2012 11:59 EST
2 – page summary outlining your bright idea, 3 pages of
appendices: total 5 pages + CNTAE title page
Phase 2: Top 25 – The Strategy Document
Comprehensive Marketing Plan, including appendices
outlining strategy, media channels, creative elements,
positioning, execution + more
Phase 3: Rubber Meets the Road
30 Minute final presentation of strategy at the closing
ceremonies to industry and academic judges
Two words: Bring. It.
