Droidcon Italy 2020 was the first "Digital edition" this is the post event report with all the main outcomes of the event

2. In 2020, with the global impact
of Covid-19, droidcon Italy was both
postponed and transformed.
Responding to the many requests
for continued learning and access
to best practice and connectivity
with the community, we launched
the droidcon Italy webinar series.
The annual droidcon Italy event
was shifted from April to November
and became all-digital, with as many
connectivity features as possible.
This was an unexpected and difficult
year, for everybody and we were
especially appreciative of the
sponsors and speakers that
continued to support droidcon Italy.
It was also a pleasure for us to be
able to provide opportunities for
the Android community to learn,
share and network together,
and of course with the all-digital
products we were happily able
to extend our reach fully global,
fully #AndroidConnected, fully
#Android4Everyone.

in Turin, Italy and live-streamed globally.
With presentations, roundtable discussions
and speaker interviews, participants were able
to engage with high level Android content.

17. The 2020 droidcon Italy Hackathon
was organised in partnership with Intel,
Cisco and Links with the objective
of developing mobile applications
for advanced services in MEC-enabled
5G networks.
Developers had the chance to gain
remote access, in advance, to real
MEC platforms and to test their skills
and abilities as Multi-Access Edge
Application developers.
