But thankfully, market participants on the Indian BSE Midcap 6,703 6,476 3.51 bourses saw mostly green on their trading screens on Monday. It was a lovely day for the equity markets in BSE Smallcap 8,117 7,809 3.94 India, as bulls extended the relief rally to a second consecutive trading session on the back of all-round Nifty Junior 10,800 10,406 3.78 buying. With this, the NSE Nifty has managed to recover over 5% in just two days, ending above 5450 CNX Midcap 7,717 7,484 3.11 today. On the other hand, the BSE Sensex managed to recapture the 18,000 levels. Yesterday's rally was led by Capital Goods, Auto, Metals and Banking stocks. The Mid-Cap and Small-Cap index outperformed the benchmark indices as investors snapped up stocks that had been battered in the recent slide. Eventually, the Sensex surged by 474 points or 2.7% to end at 18,202 and the Nifty jumped by 146 points or GLOBAL MARKETS 14-Feb 11-Feb % Change 2.75% to shut shop at 5,456.Even the BSE Mid-Cap and the BSE Small-Cap index gained 3.5% and 4% Dow Jones Ind (USA) 12,268 12,273 (0.04) respectively.
