The benchmark Indices almost remained unchanged on Wednesday but it had a volatile Nifty Junior 11,416 11,397 0.16 session with low volumes. The coming result season will decide the flow of market which will start with HDFC declaring its Q1FY12 results on Friday. The overall market sentiment has turned sluggish this week and CNX Midcap 8,081 8,069 0.15 volumes have subsided substantially after last week’s surprisingly robust rally. Among the BSE sectoral indices, BSE Banking index was the top loser, the index lost 1%, PSU index slipped 0.5% and BSE Pharma index was down 0.5%. Among the major gainers were BSE Consumer Durables index, which gained 1.4% and GLOBAL MARKETS 06-Jul 05-Jul % Change BSE Capital Goods index, which gained 0.5%.
