This document provides instructions for a focus activity where students are asked to physically move to different areas of the classroom to indicate their level of agreement or disagreement with several controversial statements/questions about issues like corporal punishment in schools, the death penalty, assisted suicide, environmental policies, reproductive technology for married and unmarried couples, and human and animal cloning. Students must choose a position along a spectrum from strongly disagree to strongly agree.
