2. HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF
CC, PVB, AKADEMI KOMUNITAS
• 2000 -2010:
There were 105 CC in SMK, Universities, Polytechnics,
Industries
• 2010-2012:
PVB Program (seamless education on vocational) there were
42 Universities with 300 Sub Campuses (SMK and
Industries) using ODL which then enhanced by ministry
regulation 2012
• 2012- :
Some of Sub Campuses in some regencies have changed to
AK/ community college , year 2012 start with 46 AK.
3. OBJECTIVES
• Improving competencies in accordance with
local needs and industries
• Increase student enrollment to higher
education
• Encouraging the growth of small and medium
enterprises in (SME) corresponding to the
potential of the region
4. PRINCIPLES OF IMPLEMENTATION
• Developing competence and
technopreneur
• Life long learning
• Open and close study program (on-off)
• Modular and transferable
• Based on local potentials
7. CURRICULUM
• The curriculum is based on standards of
competence in accordance with Indonesian
Qualification Framework (NQF)
• Learning methods are designed to prioritize job
skills, with the composition of: 60–70% for
practice and work in industries, and 30–40% for
theory.
• AK graduates are expected to acquire
competence in accordance with job
requirements, or to pursue study to a further
level of relevant education

1. AK established by government along with local
government

government in cooperation with industries or
local institution.
3. AK established by society/community in form of
non profit corporation
4. AK established by industries in cooperation with
higher education institution.
9. PROGRAM CONTINUATION
• AK is part of the process of improving the nation’s
economic growth by increasing the number of skilled
labors that in the future would be able to drive the
economy of the region
• Ability to provide skilled manpower
• Producing goods and services of students that have
selling value
• Cooperation with end user and industries
