Why Is the Time Now? Millage Reduction = 0.3 mils Low interest ARRA Bonds Safety & Security Technology Improvements  Lower Energy Costs  General Fund Savings  Transportation – 6 buses  Athletic Facility Safety and Compliance

Smaller bond issue, no millage increase, saves    		$ for future bonding capacity.
 Protects the operational budget.

Bond Issue Amount: $14,325,000

Approximately 40% of the bond is focused on this building alone Inadequate security & surveillance systems in place Incredibly inefficient building for energy use(single pane windows, exterior doors, etc.) Substantial water drainage and damage issues which are ongoing and require immediate work Have to prepare building for the addition of 6th grade students next fall Middle School
