1. Flora in Tablas de Daimiel:
The Tablas de Daimiel National Park is located in
the Autonomous Community of Castilla - La
Mancha, in Ciudad Real.
It is one of the most important fluvial ecosystem
of the Peninsula.
It is formed by overflowing the rivers in its middle
section. These rivers are Guadiana and Cigüela.
The fresh water of the Guadiana favors the reeds
to grow.
2. Fauna in Tablas de Daimiel:
In the Tablas de Daimiel numerous
waterfowl live, including: blue duck, red
duck, the teal, the imperial heron, ...
Mammals include the wild boar, the fox, the
polecat, the otter, the weasel, the rabbit and
the dormouse.
Amphibians and reptiles are also very
abundant: the San Antonio frog, the corridor
toad, the terrapins and the water snakes.
Among fish, the carp, the barbo and the
colmilleja are important.
