- Sometimes it’s like standing at a precipice. Like the coastline the educational landscape is constantly changing – but Geography is a dynamic subject that is perfectly positioned to be at the forefront of every school.

- Look at the people around you on your table and have a quick hello if you haven’t already.
- I’m a great believer in community and networked learning. Geography departments that I know of are often small and therefore it’s essential to reach out. We are a community or network in this room now – so we are going to work together
- Write down ideas onto paper and place into a hat / display on the table etc etc.
- How can we get Geography to tackle some of these boxes? We have the answer here. We are going to use a technique we use at Priory with students when we want them to be creative. First a warm up……

As leaders of geography we can show others how our subject can contribute and as teachers of geography we can easily incorporate these ideas
