The group decided to go with a simple one worded name to identify the artist. We were influenced by many other solo female artists such as………………………… These are all very successful female artists. We believe this is because they have created an easily identifiable yet simplistic brand identity.
We wanted to go for a retro classic feel but with a modern twist. Our main inspiration was the 1920’s as this is very current at the moment with films such as the Great Gatsby and The Artist becoming very successful. The style and fashion of this era is also being re-defined. We feel this theme is unique but easily identifiable. Although we have taken inspiration from the above, we feel our artist will be unique as there is currently no other artist in the music industry similar to what we aim to create.
