Merupakan suatu pernyataan ringkas tentang cita-
cita organisasi yang berisikan arahan yang jelas
dan apa yang akan diperbuat oleh organisasi di
masa yang akan datang.
merupakan rangkaian kalimat yang menyatakan
cita-cita atau impian sebuah organisasi atau
perusahaan yang ingin dicapai di masa depan.
Atau dapat dikatakan bahwa visi merupakan
pernyataan want to be dari organisasi atau
perusahaan. Visi juga merupakan hal yang sangat
krusial bagi perusahaan untuk menjamin
kelestarian dan kesuksesan jangka panjang.
8. Misi
Misi merupakan penetapan tujuan dan sasaran
HSO yang mencakup kegiatan jangka panjang
tertentu dan jangka pendek yang akan dilakukan,
dalam upaya mencapai visi yang telah ditetapkan.
Misi (mission) adalah apa sebabnya kita ada (why
we exist / what we believe we can do).
Pernyataan misi harus mampu menentukan
kebutuhan apa yang dipuasi oleh organisasi, siapa
yang memiliki kebutuhan tersebut, dimana
mereka berada dan bagaimana pemuasan tersebut
dilakukan.
9. Tujuan
Apa yang ingin dicapai oleh organisasi.
Beberapa hal yang harus dipenuhi dalam
merumuskan tujuan yaitu :
• Tujuan tersebut haruslah spesifik.
• Realistis atau memungkinkan untuk dicapai.
• Fleksibel
• Dapat diukur baik dari sisi waktu pencapaian, nilai
uang dan ukuranukuran lainnya.
• Konsisten yaitu setiap tujuan harus sejalan
dengan tujuan lain, misalnya tujuan jangka
pendek dengan panjang.
10. Filosofi
Filosofi berisikan tata nilai yang "menggerakkan
nurani manusia yang terlibat dalam organisasi"
untuk memiliki kesamaan visi.
"mengapa" perilaku-perilaku tertentu patut
dikembangkan demi lebih memantapkan citra
organisasi dan citra diri pribadi setiap
karyawannya.
