  5. 5. Founded in 1980 by helping one boy become a police officer, this popular nonprofit gives children a platform on social media to share their stories via YouTube and realize their dreams. From meeting you favorite stars to traveling the world, Make-A-Wish now grants a new child’s wish in the United States every 40 minutes. They use their website to publish all granted wishes.   7. 7. With the right targeting, keep a Breast’s #CheckYourSelfie Campaign evolved into a social movement on Instagram. Millennials were challenged to take the pledge and commit to performing monthly self-breast checks – a message true to its brand’s value. They successfully raised an year’s supply of resources 1,600 students needed to attend school. POP updated all their creatives to reflect the campaign mission and a strong call to action when they launched their Back to School fundraising campaign. The Idea of thanking donors is not novel for any nonprofit, but charity: water on their 5th anniversary did things a little bit differently. Their anniversary videos encouraged people to start their own campaigns— and 100% of what they raised or gave towards the September Campaign would help them to buy a new drilling rig fleet that would provide clean water for 40,000 more people each year in Northern Ethiopia.
