9. Biological Sex
Biological sex identifies a person as
either female, male, or intersex. It is
determined by a person‟s sexual anatomy,
chromosomes, and hormones. Biological sex
is often simply referred to as “sex.”

Self concept is the culture in which a
person lives , relation ships with
other & developmental experiences
throughout the life cycle.

11. PSYCHODYNAMIC CONCERNS
• The term „psychodynamic‟ refers to the
transfer of psychic or mental energy between
the different structures and levels of
consciousness within peoples minds.
• Psychodynamic approaches emphasize the
importance of unconscious influences on how
people function. Therapy aims to increase
clients‟ abilities to exercise greater
conscious control over their lives. Analysis
or interpretation of dreams can be a central
part of therapy.

It‟s a romantic attraction, sexual attraction

romantic attractions to persons of the opposite
sex"; it also refers to "an individual‟s sense of
personal and social identity based on those
attractions, behaviors expressing them, and
membership in a community of others who share
them". The term is usually applied to humans, but
it is also observed in all mammals.
