¿Por qué estigmatizamos el fracaso?
K. Anders Ericsson, Michael J. Prietula, and Edward T. Cokely: The Making
of an Expert, HBR julio 2007
“The idea that excellence at performing a complex task
requires a critical minimum level of practice surfaces again
and again in studies of expertise. In fact, researchers have
settled on what they believe is the magic number for true
expertise: ten thousand hours”
Malcolm Gladwell: Outliers The story of success
“New research shows that outstanding performance is the product of
years of deliberate practice and coaching, not of any innate talent or skill”
“There are no shortcuts. It will take you at least a decade to achieve
expertise, and you will need to invest that time wisely”

The Power of Habit
“Most of the choices we make each day may feel like the products of well-
considered decision making, but they’re not. They’re habits. And though each
habit means relatively little on its own, over time, (…) the way we organize our
thoughts and work routines have enormous impacts on our health, productivity,
financial security, and happiness. (…) More than 40% of the actions people
performed each day weren’t actual decisions, but habits”
Charles Duhigg, The Power of Habit
“Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become
actions. Watch your actions; they become habit. Watch your habits; they become
character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.”
Lao Tzu
Las acciones continuadas tienen efectos duraderos; las acciones
puntuales, efectos efímeros

¿El fracaso es solo una actitud?
“I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won’t
work”.
Thomas A. Edison
“A person who never made a mistake never tried anything
new”.
“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and
expecting different results”
Albert Einstein
“It's fine to celebrate success but it is more important to
heed the lessons of failure”.
Bill Gates
