PicoSol Cambodia aims to introduce and disseminate solar energy in Cambodia through education, training, and awareness raising activities. Approximately 80% of Cambodians live in rural areas, with low electrification and high power rates. Solar energy has excellent potential but low adoption due to lack of knowledge, affordability, and accessibility. PicoSol's Davis Peace project equipped schools and increased solar awareness for over 1,800 adults and children in 7 villages through workshops, demonstrations, and community solar installations. The project fostered cooperation between international donors, local entrepreneurs, communities, and solar companies to promote inclusive green growth through renewable energy.
