There are more than 7,000 islands in the
Philippines. The 3 main islands are ‘Luzon,
Visayas and Mindanao’.

-Languages - There are so many languages in the Philippines. There are more
than 120 languages, some of them are
called ‘Tagalog, Bisaya, Ilokano’. But I
only speak one language, and it is ‘Tagalog’. The main language is ‘Tagalog’.
-House - Our house in the Philippines
doesn’t look like houses here. It just
looks like a house

SM CITY NORTH EDSA
SM CITY NORTH EDSA is a shopping mall located in Quezon
City, Philippines. It is the largest mall in Southeast and the
third largest in the world in terms of a leasable area
496,878 square meters. This mall is operated by SM Prime
holdings, which is a local company in the Philippines. SM
Prime holdings are the biggest retail and mall operator in
Southeast Asia. SM City North EDSA was opened on Novem
ber 25, 1985.

Temperature
There are only two seasons in the Philippines - a warm wet season and cool dry season . The dry season lasts from October to
June, and wet is for the rest of the year. The average year-round
temperature measured from all weather stations in the Philippines. Except from Baguio City. Cooler days are usually felt in the
month of January with temperature averaging 25.5 degrees and
the warmest are felt in the month of May with 35.5 degrees. In Baguio City, with an elevation of 1,500m above a sea level, the mean
average is 18.3 degrees but sometimes it is way cooler by about
4.3 degrees.

tation in the country especially in the bustling metropolis
of Manila. The Philippines has three main railway network
which are LRT and MRT which only serves Metro Manila
and the Philippine National Railways. Tax and buses are
also important modes of public transport. The Philippines
has 12 international airports, and it has more than 20 ma
jor and minor domestic airports serving the country. The
‘NAIA’ which stands for Nonoy Aquino International Airport
is the main international gateway to the Philippines.

where colours can be reversed. In war time, the upper is red and the bottom is blue. But in times of
peace it is the original flag

- The University of Santo Tomas, which is
located in the city of Manila, Philippines
was established in 1611, which is twentyfive years before Harvard, the oldest university in United State was established.
