9. HOW WE CREATED OUR STAR IMAGE THROUGH THE MUSIC VIDEO Throughout the music video we wanted to show the organic talent of the band by using a variety of performance clips. By using images of the band playing together not only gives them credibility but also emphasises their youth and freedom. Also by having the female lead singer standing on the wall above the band highlights her dominant status over men making her more appealing to women as the mise-en scene suggests she is not afraid to stand up for what she thinks and creates this idea of success against the odds.
10. We also wanted to give our lead singer a sexual magnetism. We continuously used a series of close-ups and extreme close-ups on her body and face to create our star as an object of extraordinary desire.
