Class Rules: See Computer Lab Rules attached to this syllabus.

Behavior Interventions:
               1. Warning
               2. Removed from computer/Copy rules
               3. Removed from computer/Copy rules/Loss of privileges
               4. Removed from computer/Copy rules/Loss of privileges /Detention
               5. Send to Office/I.S.S/ D.R
                         ****A severe disruption to the class will result in an office referral (fighting,
                         screaming, cursing, severe disrespectful behavior or comments towards, repeated
                         rule violation).

Tardies: You are tardy if you are not in your seat and quiet when the bell rings. The tardy policy of
             Eisenhower will be followed carefully.

Grading Scale:

            100 - 90 = A                    89 – 80 = B                     79 – 70 = C
            69 – 60 = D                      59 – 0 = F

*Student’s classroom behavior is always taken into consideration if their grade is on the border. For
              example, if a student has a 79 and always displays good behavior he/she may earn a B.
**No extra credit is given, since part of this class is aimed at using your time wisely on your schoolwork. If
              this is done, extra credit shouldn’t even be an issue.

Absent: The computer lab is open every morning from 7:15-7:45 and after school (on certain days) for
             students to complete work, make up assignments missed or practice improves their typing
             skills.

Late Work: Most assignments in this class will be due on Fridays and should be turned in then. If a
             student is ill he/she has two days for every day he/she is gone to complete and turn in his/her
             make-up work. If student is absent, he/she is responsible for asking for his/her make-up work.

Internet: You will not be allowed to participate in the Internet activities if you do not have a permission
             slip on file in the office (this should have been signed by a parent when you enrolled at
             Eisenhower). The rules in the library are the same as in the room, with one additional rule.
             There are to be no vocal cords used. In other words, if you have permission to speak, you
             must whisper.

                                COMPUTER LAB RULES

Come to class ready to learn!
Operate the equipment properly and give care to all components (headphones, mouse,
etc…) Report problems immediately.

Make sure you close all windows, log out and push in your chair when you leave.
Print ONLY with permission.
Use only the computer you are assigned to.
                                     Do not save to the hard drive (C:) of your
computer. Always save to “MY DOCUMENTS”

The desktop picture, screensavers and other settings on your computer should be left
alone.

Eating and drinking are NOT allowed at your computer.         NO CANDY OR GUM!

Remember to be safe on the Internet.      Don’t give out personal information. Don’t
access non-school e-mail accounts and NO DOWNLOADS! (This includes, but is not
limited to, videos, music files, screen savers and games.) If something inappropriate
pops up on your screen, close out of it, in form the teacher (Mr. True) and get back to
work!

Learning is a technology priority.
                                 Keep your eyes on your screen and don’t bother
people sitting around you. They are trying to get their work done!

Always use your computer class time wisely.     Getting assignments/projects done on
time with greatly effect your grade!

Be RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE & READY TO LEARN!

Consequences for NOT following these rules:
