3. When you were younger… hair problems When I was a little girl, maybe 3 I loved Disney princesses I had all the costumes and jewelry for my favorite princess: Jasmine (from Aladdin). So one day when I received A Jasmine dress for my birthday I was thrilled! I looked great but one thing I realized I didn’t have was a long black braid like Jasmine’s. So one evening when my mom was up stairs and my dad was still at work I decided to “braid” my hair. The only problem was: I didn’t know how. So I ran upstairs to my room and pulled out my princess book, ran back down stairs and opened it to the page with Jasmine on it. Now too me it looked like Jasmine only had hair down the middle of her neck (aka where the braid was) so I decided to get some scissors and cut off all my hair except for what I thought was needed to make a braid. So I did and then tried to twist my hair as though to make a braid. When I finally realized it wasn’t working I called for my mom who came down stairs gasped, told me I was in big trouble and that jasmine had just pulled back her hair and if I had asked her first she would have really braided my hair but because I cut it I had to go to the hairdresser and get it cut properly, and that I wasn’t allowed to ever use scissors again. And I don’t think I have used scissors for anything but cutting since .
