Decision Criteria Employedwhat factors did we consider? Team Name: Had to be professional Had to be creative Team Structure: Team manager had to be organized and always on top of things Need for a second level of control Team Norms: Need to be focused on the end goal Will improve efficiency and effectiveness
Decision Process Employedhow did we reach our decisions?  Team Name:Derek came up with the idea of Team Excelerate.  We unanimously agreed because it embodied all the requirements we established. Team Structure:Again, we unanimously decided Pete would be team manager. Team Norms:We came up with several norms (everyone pitched in ideas) and then chose the three we agreed were the most important.

  1. Accelerate beyond the competitionExcel – to perform well
  2. We will have sub-managers as we get farther along in the project.We will often break up into smaller teams under each sub-manager to accomplish tasks.We know our team manager has to be organized and on top of everything, and we have already seen Pete’s ability to do this. Our sub-managers will be able to control each phase/part of the project. Because the project is so large, our smaller groups will be able to accomplish more than everyone working on one thing at a time.
