Expression

2. “Raider Chatter”
My project consisted of
starting a school newspaper
Mission Statement: My
mission is to reach out to
students in my school and
community and give them
an opportunity for personal
development and creative
expression.
3. How I Chose This Project
I have always been an advocate for the arts
through my work with MAAE and MAC, but this
was the first time I took what I have learned and
applied it to my own school.
Excerpt from “Genesis: the Origins of Raider
Chatter”
4. Why does creative
expression matter?
For the most part, my
school meets
physiological needs,
but it does not
necessarily encourage
personal
development.
Example: “Seth”
