4. Introduction
Culture is the integrated pattern of
human knowledge, belief, and
behavior that depends upon the
capacity for learning and transmitting
knowledge to succeeding generations.

5. Religion
 The main religion in Afghanistan is
Islam which 99% of the population
follow.
 A follower of Islam is referred to as a
Muslim.
 The Afghan Muslim population is
divided into two community Sunni and

 There are different languages based
on different community.
 Tajik are speak in Dari.
 Uzbek are speak in Pashtu
 Hazara are speak in Farsi

7. Food
Samanak
 Is a dessert made
of wheat and sugar
that can take two
days to prepare.

8. Dress
 Afghan women typically wear a two-
piece outfit consisting of loose
trousers worn under a tunic or a kurta.
 Afghan men usually wear Punjabi
type dress called Kabuli and cap
made from wool.

 Gursai
This game played amongst children and
the players hold their left foot in their
right hand and then hop around trying
to knock each other to the ground.
 Pahlwani
This is a very popular sport and is much
like an American style wrestling
match.

10. Conclusions
As Afghanistan is a Muslim country ,
they also sincere about Islamic
culture. They obey their own culture
and Islamic culture both with respect.
