- On this slide, you can focus not only on the popularity of Korean pop culture across Asia, but also the emerging international popularity of Chinese movies and dramas. There is a newly coined term Huallywood referring to Chinese version of Hollywood. It is a fairly new term. You can find an academic paper on Huallywood at http://www.aect.org/pdf/proceedings13/2013i/13_25.pdf The picture on the top right is a Chinese TV series aired in Korea. You can use this to showcase the reciprocal cultural tie between the two countries. - Use this slide to show an unique form of cultural globalization characterized by internet meme. The picture on the left side is altered from the poster of Korean drama My Love from the Star, but the picture is an advertising for dress pants. The Chinese in the picture means Dress Pants from the Star. You can use this picture to show the creative element in the new form of cultural globalization. The picture on the right is Yang Pu Style derived from GS. Yang Pu is a district in Shanghai. Yang Pu style features horse-dancing in Shanghai.
