Frozen Digit Technologies Pvt Ltd is a self funded company with 28 employees comprising of

engineers (J2ME, Symbian, UIQ, Flash Lite and *Iphone), porters, pixel artists, device
manager, QA team and project managers .
* Recently ventured in Iphone platform, still in R&D phase.

Frozen Digit is a Mobile technology division of Direction Software Solutions.


FD is backed by industry veterans with experience and expertise in Technology,

Operations and Marketing hailing from Mumbai, India.

Frozen Digit’s Product - Easy Reader [ Symbian Certified ]

Easy Reader is a mobile phone application providing enhanced visibility for viewing SMS
text messages. Messages can be easily read by any recipient, with features such as a
choice of fonts, backgrounds and scrolling speeds. Easy Reader makes texts reading fun
for all and is great for the older generation who can now read texts without hunting for
their glasses.
Mobile phones use inbuilt software to display text messages along with all the normal
features and functions. Users with 20/20 vision are able to view text messages without
any strain on the eye, in practice many people have difficulty.

CBD – Process characteristics

The first and last phases (Conceptualize and Deliver) ensues defined methodologies,
where all procedures, inputs and outputs are well indentified. The information of how
to do these processes is specific. This process is linear, with basic iteration in the
planning phase.

The Build phase has many of the processes that are unidentified or uncontrolled. It requires
external controls. Accordingly, controls, including risk management, are put on each
iteration of the Build phase to avoid chaos while maximizing flexibility. The resulting
„BUILDS’ are flexible. Explicit process knowledge followed by a trial and error
methodology is used in this phase.

The project is open until it reaches the Deliver phase. The deliverable can be
modified at any time during the Conceptualize and Build phases of the project. The
project remains open to competitive time, quality, and financial pressures, throughout
these phases.



CBD – Process Advantages

The CBD process provides a mechanisms for planning a product release and then
managing repercussions as the project progresses, enabling FD to incorporate change
requirement in a project and also manage deliverables at any point in time, delivering
the most appropriate release.

Mobile games / application porting process ”TAP”

Test It:
Every game that enters the doors of FD is checked for its consistency in areas of
Compatibility, Quality, Viability in conjunction with other devices. The reference build
is tested and a bug report is prepared and sent across to the client, updating the
client regarding the status of the reference build. This ensures a quality that helps in
faster and more efficient porting.

Analyze It:
Our technical team crawls through the key areas of the code, locating the key codes,
methods and areas in the class files, to ensure a working build (jar, jad) for the target
device.

Port It:
And finally, when all is set… we port. Here the necessary changes are constructed
and then finally tested for a release. Release is made along with a test case.
