5. 1. Page Settings
Set the slide size to “A4 Paper (210 x 297 mm)”.
Set the width to “27.51cm” and the height to
“19.05cm”.

Decide the colors used on the slides as “theme
colors” and unify the rules for colors in the
entire document.

9. Set the guide so you can see the border of the
header and footer, the center of the slide, and
guidelines dividing the slide in thirds.

10. Dividing the image in thirds is also a technique used
when composing photographs (for deciding the
placement of the subject).

11. 6. Text (Body)
Set the font size to “24pt”. Use the achromatic
color from the theme colors for the text color.
Set the line spacing to “1.2-1.4lines”, spacing
before paragraphs to “0pt”, and spacing after
paragraphs to “6-12pt”. Set the text alignment
to “Left” in principle.

15. 7. Headings
Set the font size to “36pt”. Use the main color
from the theme colors for the text color. Set the
line spacing to “1.2-1.4lines”, spacing after
paragraphs to “12-18pt”, and spacing before
paragraphs to “24pt” or more. Set the text
alignment to “Left”.
