Responsibilities & Achievements:
Lead two engineering teams to develop software development and test
frameworks and provide quality engineering service; improve SLA for agile
development processes. Major deliveries are as follows:
 ASIN Finder: a widely used service in Amazon to help developers, testers
and business guys
 Octopus: a project to provide one click automatic all-in-one testing framework
based on Amazon Elastic Computing Cloud
 SLA improvement:
 improve web site fatal # reduced 40% YoY
 shrink development release cycle from 2 weeks to 24 hours
 improve automation testing pass ratio from < 60% to 95%+
Build two engineering teams from scratch, effective hiring, training, coaching
people to be effective and efficient to self-owned projects and supporting
others teams.
Cross locales and cross teams project driven, include Kindle book adoption in
China, Mobile App adoption in China, CAPTCHA enabling. Contact variant
engineering and business teams in China and US and drive them to deliver
the results.
