15. As I looked out from my bedroom window, I saw a perfect beginning! The sky was smiling, the
birds were singing, and I needed to hurry up! Or I would’ve missed my opportunity to blow
bubbles! So I quickly ran out the door to the front lawn wearing my jumper and pants, and
began to blow bubbles. I unscrewed the lid of the bubble formula and dipped the bubble
blower in and BLEW! The variety of bubbles I blew was tremendous – big, small, medium,
even extra small. And the best part was I got to pop them.
But one occasion I blew, I blew a huge bubble. Not huge but GIGANTIC! I thought that this
would be the loudest pop EVER! But I was proven wrong. As I tried to pop it, I pushed myself
into the bubble! I frantically shoved and pushed the bubble, trying to get out. But it was no
use, as I had already been lifted from earth. Higher, higher and higher … I gently rose. I shut
my eyes tightly then opened it again to see if this was only a dream. But unfortunately, it
wasn’t, and I was dead scared.
After I had been in the bubble for quite some time (about one minute) I decided to pluck up the
courage and stand up. So I stood up and I saw a lovely and beautiful scene! The sun, eager
to rise, the sky waiting to shine and I had also spotted a girl swinging on her colourful swing.
When I observed it more closely, I realised that this girl was in my neighbourhood. I would
recognise her anywhere! The same smooth silky blond hair, a smile that warmed the world
and those eyes that sparkled like diamonds. Suddenly she jumped of her swing and started
waiving to me. I waived back. But she couldn’t go anywhere beyond her fence.
As we parted I felt lonely, yet excited. I slowly sat down and started to enjoy the journey. I was
feeling calm and serene. But I shouldn’t have, because right in front of me, was a huge power
line. All of a sudden my feelings were turned upside down...
