2020 Popcorn Sale
• If you have a popcorn order, Erin Zeek picked it
up from the council office today. It can be picked
up from the scout shop, starting tomorrow.
• Online sales are still going strong! Online sales
will count towards the Council Incentive (movie
tickets at this time) until November 24. So keep
encouraging Online sales and online direct.
• If you still have popcorn, you can still have a
Show and Sell. I’ve heard from some units that
stores in their area are beginning to let groups in.
There is still some product at the council office, if
you would like to check some out for a sale. Also,
you can reach out to individual units to transfer
products.
• Final bills are due Dec 4, 2020.

What is a Good Turn?
A service project is a special Good Turn that puts Scout spirit into action.
As stated in the Boy Scout Handbook, some Good Turns are
big—saving a life, helping out after floods or other disasters,
recycling community trash, or working with others on
conservation projects. But Good Turns are often small,
thoughtful acts—helping a child cross a busy street, going to the
store for an elderly neighbor, cutting back brush that is blocking
a sign, doing something special for a brother or sister, or
welcoming a new student to your school. Youth and volunteers
are looking for ways to serve their communities. At the same
time, service organizations need dedicated volunteer help. By
working together, we can improve our young people, our
communities, and the nation.
