Need new software for the transition: Autonomous vehicles need a central coordination hub where a human operator can support autonomous vehicles as well as their passengers when needed. Process integration: This hub requires several integrations connecting autonomous vehicles to public transportation, logistics operations, operators demands and integration needed to infrastructure for safety and efficiency. No systems today: OEMs and AD providers focusing on making the autonomous bus, but few are focusing on the operation center system that will make it work at scale.
