community centers to get our
commissioners into the public.
We had a low turnout.
• In 2009, we went with a televised

direct interaction was still low.

5. We decided to combine the previous
two years, but we needed more…
1. More locations
2. More opportunities for direct

3. More ways to gather information
4. More community interaction with
our elected officials
5. A continuing ability to share the
results broadly
6. SETTING COMMISSION
EXPECTATIONS:
1. Getting out in the community
with staff support
2. Advertising changes
3. The opportunity to talk policy
over coffee
4. Venue adjustments
5. Informal survey changes
6. Changes to the televised forum
7. 100 YEARS OF DELIVERING
POSSIBILITIES
