 Questions:
 If God is a good God why does he allow

4. Why Did Jesus Come?
 Jesus came because we are “lost”
 What belongs to God has wandered
away from him
 We are estranged from God
 God came looking for us in Jesus

 Our Problem: Sin
 Attitude of rebellion against God
 God-defying selfishness
 Reality of our being
 Root cause of our problems

 Our Problem: Sin
 Condition of our being human – through
Adam’s sin we’ve all been incorporated into
his rebellion
 Choice of sin – each one personally
responsible for their own personal rebellion

 The world is NOT as God intended

 God himself subjected himself to
pain and suffering because of love
 Our sin breaks God’s heart

pain and suffering on our behalf

 Hell is NOT for pretty good people
who just didn’t believe the right

center of their universe

blatant defiance of God
