Ramadan Definition And Advice
1. 1- Ramadan: The ninth month of the Hijri calendar. It is the month where
the Holy Qur’an was revealed and fasting was ordained. 14 - The reward of good deeds during Ramadan

6 - The intention to fast must be confirmed the night before Fajr Athan. Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with them) reported:
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: In Paradise there is a gate

Night Prayer: (which means Taraweeh prayers), Abu Hurayra(May Allah be pleased with him) said, the
prophet(SAW) said:”Whoever observes Ramadan with faith and sincerity, Allah will wipe out all of his sins”
Narrated by Al Bukhari and Muslim. The prophet (SAW) said” Whoever prays with the imam until he finishes, Allah
will give him the reward for praying all night” Narrated by Al Tirmidi, Abu Dawood and An Nisaay.
The night of Power: observing the night of power in the last ten days of Ramadan, Ahmed narrated
in his Musnad that, Obada Ibn Assamit (May Allah be pleased with him) said, the prophet (SAW)
said “ It is in Ramadan, observe it in the last ten days, in the odd days, either the night of the 21st, or

Try to break your fast as soon as you hear the Adhan, the prophet (SAW) said:” people would be blessed
Increasing your Charity: The prophet (SAW) was the most generous, and in Ramadan he used to

Supplication at the time of breaking the fast, The prophet (SAW) said :”For the fasting person, when he
breaks his fast, his supplication will be always accepted.” Narrated by Ibn Maja. Abdullah Ibn Umar,
used to say when he breaks his fast:”O Allah I ask you with your mercy which overspreads everything,
forgive my sins.”
Make sure that you eat before you start your fast, even if it is just a drink of water. The prophet (SAW)
said:” Eat the morning meal in Ramadan, in it there is a blessing.” Narrated by Al Bukhari and Muslim.
Feeding fasting people: Even with little food or drink, the prophet (SAW) said” whoever feeds a
fasting person, Allah will reward him the reward of the fasting person, and this will not decrease the The prophet (SAW) said:” The morning meal in Ramadan is a blessed meal, so do not ignore it, even if it
rewards of the fasting person” Narrated by Ahmed, An-Nisaay and is just a drink of water, because Allah and His angels send prayers to the one who eats his morning meal

Ramadan Charity: Mandatory for every muslim, who has the means, It purifies the giver, from any
shortcomings that happened in Ramadan.
Forgiving people, Avoiding lies, and Abstaining from vain talk: to protect the fasting and to get the
blessings, Al Bukhari narrated that, Abu Hurayra (May Allah be pleased with him) said, the prophet Imam Mahmoud Sulaiman, wishes you a rewarding and blessed Ramadan, your donation will be greatly
