1. T H E C O L L E G E
SAI International College of Commerce is established under the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of
Odisha and affiliated to Utkal University for the +3 Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) and Bachelor’s Degree in
Business Administration (BBA).
Utkal University, established in the year 1943, is the seventeenth oldest University in India. Its present campus at Vani
Vihar, Bhubaneswar, is located on a sprawling 399.9 acre area. The foundation stone of the campus was laid by Dr.
Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India on January 1, 1958 and the campus was inaugurated by Dr. S.
Radhakrishnan, the second President of India on January 2, 1963. This is a teaching-cum- affiliating University. There
are at present twenty-seven Post-Graduate Departments located in the University Campus for Post-Graduate studies
and research in various disciplines of Science, Humanities, Business Administration, Social Science, Law and
Commerce. This is the largest affiliating University in the country with approximately 267 affiliated Colleges under its
jurisdiction.

BBA
After eight years of exemplary service in providing quality commerce education, SICC has now introduced a
three-year program in Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA), an undergraduate program, affiliated
to Utkal University. Apart from the prescribed University Syllabus, SICC offers various Value Added Programs
and Certificate Courses to make students competent in the competitive world. The education imparted at SICC
mold the aspirants into capable and responsible human beings. The undergraduate program of BBA is a platform
to wing young minds with a positive attitude and empower them to emerge as excellent performers. It provides
rigorous training in Business Management encompassing areas such as General Management, Marketing, Human
Resource Management and Finance. The emphasis is on contemporary issues affecting business and problem
solving, such as management of change within an increasingly dynamic environment and the development of
business skills across organizations and sectors. SICC offers a state-of-the-art business education and provides
opportunities for personal development and professional growth.
