2. WHAT IS START-UP FAIR : SUMMER 2015?
icreate organized a two day Start-Up Fair for Students & Nascent Ventures to come together & explore
career & internship opportunities. This fair helped students & professionals to find fascinating opportunities
where they can make an impact by providing access of their talent to the Nascent Ventures.
The Start-Up Fair was scheduled on June 27 - 28, 2015 & provided a chance to the graduating students
(placed/not placed/preparing for Masters/going abroad) to utilize their time-on-hand contributing it to
Nascent Ventures.
The fair acted as a platform for students, nascent ventures, service providers, parents, faculties, investors,
etc. to come together, mingle, interact & foster the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ahmedabad. It also
enabled all the stakeholders from the entrepreneurial fraternity to recognize & interact with a pool of talent
across various sectors.
In this 2-day fair, multiple sessions were organized for Students, Nascent Ventures, Parents & Faculties,
Nascent Venture Pitches, Job Fair, Panel Discussion, B2B Meetings & lots of Networking opportunities.

4. MISSION AND VISION
icreate is an independent centre and facilitates
"Next Generation Entrepreneurship" that
blends creativity, innovation, engineering,
product design and leverages emerging
technologies to evolve out-of-the-box
applications.
The primary goal of the Centre is to create a
large quantity of quality entrepreneurs.
Towards this objective, it aims to seed a new
ethos wherein people will understand and
encourage entrepreneurship as a preferred
career option. The Centre also engages with
the government to help evolve enabling
policies.
Such enterprises will not only create
rapid growth resulting into wealth
generation for self and society but
also contribute to employment
generation.
The incubated projects are
encouraged to set up their companies
in Gujarat, which would create
clusters of high-tech companies and
contribute to the growth of Gujarat's
overall economy.
The Centre also plans to tie-up with
similar institutions/ incubators around
the globe and network with their
resources, mentors and educators.

5. Icreate - Technology Incubation Centre
icreate is an incubation center for technology and business in
India. Facilitate the incubation of the business idea and
convert the idea into a feasible concept to develop it and
acquire initial customers. This will involve funding also.
Subsequent to the Grooming Program, in the next 6-8 weeks,
aspirants are expected to pick an idea that has a strong value
proposition around which a viable and defendable business
can be built, and work out enough details to submit an
incubation proposal along with a skeleton business plan. Such
proposals are then evaluated by an independent panel for
incubation at icreate. The incubation offering includes
physical facilities, project funding including sustenance
allowance (up to Rs. 15 Lacs), mentoring and networking.
The model is based on a debt - equity - revenue based
commission structure. The model is built on solid proven
experience of the founders and the initiative is backed by an
exceptional Advisory Board drawn from across industry and
academia from India and abroad.
