1 OCR (and linguistic) tools created by the impact
consortium (for evaluation, post-correction, binarization,
etc).
2 Singular linguistic resources: half a million images, over
50,000 ground truth transcriptions (accurate mapping),
specialised lexica.
3 Unique cooperation between researchers, libraries,
digitisation experts and service providers, including public
and private organisations.

The Centre has distributed organisation and shared costs:
1 Personnel (shared with BVC and KB): technical manager,
computer engineer, administrative support.
2 Website (hosted by PSNC, content maintained by UA and

8. Running the centre
.
The Centre is a non-profit organisation.
Basic services (showcasing, evaluation, dissemination) are
provided for a relatively low fee.
The target is to engage a significant number of
organisations (including collective enrolment).
On-demand services, such as software adaptation or
development, will be charged separately.
