in the future?
Global biometric demand is expected to
expand at a significant rate as a result of
the rise in terrorist activities and the rise
in thefts of important data and
information that are raising concerns
about national security. According to
estimates, the biometrics market is
expected to increase as a result of crucial
factors like the expansion of the
government-supported e-passport
programme and extensive use of criminal
identification. The latest COVID 19
outbreak has also increased the demand
for non-contact biometric services.

where safety remains a major concern.
Some of the major clients of this system
include the defence, law enforcement,
and government agencies. Additionally,
the worldwide expansion of these

adhere to is that you should never stop

visual recognition systems. We believe
that visual recognition technology will
soon spill over into the security
industry, with surveillance cameras
featuring built-in AI capable of
efficiently alerting people when it
identifies smoke, intrusions, weapons
and other suspicious or dangerous
activities. Essentially, we envision a
future where access control and
security are merged as one, with
everything being controlled by cameras
and AI.
This means that Suprema will have to
change its business model to take
advantage of this market opportunity.
Over the past 20 years, we've focused
on access control and developed
everything in-house. But now, we are
now looking to make partnerships that
can help us build synergies. We aim to
develop our visual recognition
algorithms to not only recognize faces,

I was motivated by what the future could be. As a fellow
consumer and a frequent passenger, I understand the need in
solving one of the long-standing problems for travelers
worldwide. The airport experience in most parts is quite
inconvenient, with long queues at check-in counters,
manual processing of paperwork and documentation
including at immigration, border control and boarding, and
the need for physical intervention and checks. All these
inefficiencies added up in terms of the time taken and
overburdening the system.
I knew there had to be a better way of handling these and
increasing efficiency. This is where Vision-Box comes in,
and I share the same vision and values of the company. Our
work has been to implement the right technological
solutions enabling a seamless experience for the users.
