Under the new provision of the Patents Act, 1970 as amended by the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005
and Rules there under, Publication of the matter relating to Patents in the Official Gazette of India Part III,
Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published
containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th
months , grant of patents all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions
of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.
The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are
discontinued from 01/01/2009.

Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.
However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken

dryer and transferred to the hopper(1) by a conveyor belt; - a drive mechanism having an axle(7) accommoding the roll(5) for rotating,
the roll(5) having an exterior surface(6) on which the mixture(2) is fed; - an ionizing(corona) electrode(8) having a corona wire(9)
connected to a D.C power supply and located inclinedly in the first quadrant in the rotational direction of the roll(5) at a small distance
from the exterior surface(6) of the roll(5); - the particles getting charged by the ionizing filed from the corona wire (9), the less
charged particles releases their charge faster and get dislodged at a point(10) from the roll, wherein the lesser conducting particles get
dislodged at a point(12), and wherein the non-conducting particles remain on the roll(5) until removed by a brush, the improvement is
characterized in that a second ionizing(corona) electrode(17) with a corona wire(18) is inclinedly located in the fourth quadrant of
rotational direction of the roll(5) at a similar distance from the roll surface(6); - in that the particulate mixture is now susceptible to ion
bombardment from both the corona wires such that the net charge acquired by the particles increased leading to higher separation
efficiency of the particles.

An improved device for electrostatic mineral separation based on a difference in electrical resistivity and size of mineral particles;
comprising: - a tubular high voltage static electrode attached to a high voltage D.C power supply, and connected to a large surface

gravitational force; - conducting particles get polarized in the electric field near the electrode to lose the charges of sign same as that
of the electrode to the grounded metal feed plate so as to acquire a net charge opposite to that of the sign of the electrode; and finally
experiencing a lifting effect, wherein the non-conducting particles continues to fall under gravity to the grounded metal side plate
without being influenced by the lifting effect; - a splitter type collection means below the metal side plate dividing the feed into
conducting and non-conducting fractions, the improvement is characterized in that an ionizing electrode is disposed for imparting
charge of same sign as that of the static electrode on mineral particles such that a charge deposition on the particle surface is ensured
before the entry of the particles onto the grounded metal side plate, thereby causing repulsion of the non-conducting particles by the
static electrode to minimize the lifting of non-conducting particles to the conducting fraction.

image format and then open in cad software for finalizing the desired shape of the object.The designer can add, remove and
manipulate the control points to achieve the accuracy of desired shape in early design stage. In designing any complicated shape
where accuracy plays an important role, the designer can use this technique. Following invention is described in detail with the help of
Figure 4 of sheet 3showing the plotting of any design model using the platform and then manipulation of any number of control points
in real time.

Ultra wide band Inverted U-patch with bandnotch characteristics planer monopole antenna is designed. Invented antenna fabricated on
a substrate offer wide impedance bandwidth which cover entire UWB band with band-notch at 3.5 GHz. The designed antenna is
compared with the other two antennas and also some key parameters which affect the impedance bandwidth are analyzed. Novel
central patch is designed to form Inverted U-patch and its length, width and gap is optimized to design the antenna for band-notch
characteristics. The antenna gives a bandwidth from 3 to 12.5 GHz i.e. 9.5 GHz approximately with return loss of-10 dB. The antenna
has the dimensions 12x12.5x1.6 mm3 on FR4 substrate with dielectric constant 4.4 Radiation patterns and results are presented to
validate the usefulness of the proposed antenna for ultra wide band with rejection of WiMAX band. The invented antenna is less
complex, simple to design and compatibility to other microwave circuits make it suitable and competent candidate for various ultra
wideband communication applications.

Abstract Modified W-shape radiating patch and rectangular ground plane with dual band-notch characteristics are designed for ultra
wide band applications. The proposed antenna structure with dimension 12(L) x 15.5(WS1) x 1.6(H) mm is design and fabricated on
easily available FR4 substrate. The structure is feed to 50-11 microstrip line and terminated by SMA connector. Different strips of
modified W-shaped are generates additional resonances. The strip widths of the antenna are optimized to convert single band notch
function into dual band notch function. Normally, in monopole antenna design, reducing the size of the antenna reduces the impedance
bandwidth and vice-versa. But the distinctive point in our design is that, though the size is very compact, still the proposed design
gives wider impedance bandwidth from 3 to 12 GHz i.e. 120%. Above with the proposed antenna with two notch bands covering all
the 5.2/5.8 GHz WLAN, 3.5/5.5 GHz WiMAX and 4 GHz C bands. Also, impedance matching at lower frequencies and the
omnidirectional radiation patterns and ease of fabrication makes the proposed design suitable for many ultra wide-band
communication applications.
