PHYSICALLY FIT Physically fit means that a person maintains a healthy weight for their age, gender and body type; it means they can work at an elevated heart rate for approximately 20 minutes and recover normal respiration and heart rate in about a minute; it means a person can walk briskly and still be able to carry on a conversation; it means the person's diet includes all the necessary food groups and a generous supply of good vitamin/mineral/etc.
BEING AS SELF SUFFIECIENT AS POSSIBLE. HAVING AND MAKING GOOD USE OF COMMON SENSE. BEING ABLE TO IMPROVISE. BEING ADAPTABLE TO THE SITUATION TO MAKE A GOOD THING OUT OF BAD THING. BEING AWARE AND UNDERSTAND YOURSELF AND THE ENVIRONMENT.
GROOMING Good Grooming is commonly used to refer to a persons appearance. It is made up of personal hygiene, tidy hair, appropriate dressing. Grooming is very important for creating good image. For enhancement of outer appearance. Important in facing the interview. It is the theme of our professional personality.
PERSONAL GROOMING TREATMENT (SKIN) I’ll have 6-8 hours of undisturbed sleep. I Do exercise regularly to maintain fit. I Drink at least 8- 10 glass of water everyday. My diet Include lots of salads, toned milk and fresh leafy vegetables in your diet. When ever I go out and return back home I wash my face with cold water or ice cubes made of dhoodi juice Limit washing your face to two or three times a day. Too much washing will stimulate your skin to produce more oil. Before going to class I take a body wash. I Avoid skincare products that leave your skin feeling taunt and dehydrated. I Always use a sunscreen to protect from sun’s rays and taunt.(i.e. SPF 15 or 30) Pat my face and neck dry with a soft towel. I Cover my skin while going outside. Before going to bed I apply Vaseline body lotion to my body and let my skin breath while I am asleep. I also apply home made face pack once a weak and bleach my face once a month.
TYPES OF SKIN Normal skin Dry skin Oily skin Combination skin Sensitive skin
NORMAL SKIN It has a fine even texture with a proper balance between oil and moisture contents and is therefore moist and is neither greasy nor dry. Skin tone is even. The pores of the skin are fine and barely visible. It reflects good health and needs gentle treatment.
DRY SKIN It has dry parched appearance and has a tendency to flake easily. It has prone to wrinkles and lines. Dry has often has problems in cold weather. Constant protection is very important. It needs a moisturizer during the days and a good cream at night.
OILY SKIN As its name implies, oily skin is slightly moderately greasy. This type of skin is caused by over secretion of sebum making the skin surface oily. It attracts dirt and dust from the environment. It is prone to black heads, white heads, pimples, spots and such skin will never be cleansed thoroughly.
COMBINATION SKIN As the name itself suggests, it is a combination of both oily and dry skin with certain areas of the face oily and rest dry. This type of skin is very common. Oily panel consisting of forehead nose and chin. Dry panel consisting of cheeks and areas around eyes and mouth. It is referred as T zone.
SENSITIVE SKIN A sensitive skin is a thin or a fine-textured skin. It reacts quickly to both heat and cold; therefore, it sunburns and windburns easily. It is commonly dry, delicate and prone to allergic reactions. Temperature changes, some detergents, cosmetics and alcohol (used on the skin) can all cause irritation, leaving the skin red and blotchy, with visible surface veins.
MY SKIN TYPE I have an oily skin. My skin is shiny and thick due to oily skin. I have an occasional acne and black heads. For my type I apply cleansing milk with plenty of hot water and soap it to prevent the pores from being clogged.
The most common causes for oily skin are as follows. Inconsistent Cleansing Everyday Activities Heat and Humidity Hormones Irritation Poor Diet Fatigue Stress and Anxiety Genetics Makeup Medications Drugs Diseases and Illnesses Creams and Lotions
Tips for oily skin Avoid oily, cheesy foods. Drink at least 8-10 glasses of water each day. Water helps flush out toxins from the body Wash your face with cold water as many times as you can in a day. Before applying make-up first apply astringer lotion and wait for 5 min then do make-up as you like. Use more glycerine-based soaps. Use Deep Cleanser or Almond Cleansing Milk . Use Almond Moisturizing cream. Use an exfoliant twice a week. These skin scrub products contains little granules that, when used with a small brush, provide deep cleansing
HOME REMEDIES FOR MY SKIN Neem leaves are excellelent for pimples. Crush, washed neem leaves to form a paste and apply this to the affected parts. Leave it for an half an hour, it will help the pimple dry up faster. Soak neem leaves in water for 5 hours, then remove the leaves and have a bath in that water to prevent from pimples and acne. Gram pulse flour (besan) or green gram flour is best for oily skin as it removes excessive oil from the skin, use it with rose water.
Take 2-3 almonds and grind them properly. Add ½ tablespoon honey to it. Mix them to make a fine paste. Massage your face with this paste gently for 15-20 minutes. Wipe off with a hot water dipped cloth. Wash with water after that. It gives your skin a deadly glow. It is very effective home remedy for oily skin. Take 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix same quantity of water to it. Apply this solution on your face with a cotton ball. Wash with lukewarm water for better and quick results
HOW TO SHAVE YOUR FACE AND AVOID CUTS Wet your face with warm water. You may want to hold a wet washcloth to your beard for a few minutes to soften the skin Fill the sink basin halfway with water Get out a new razor, or replace the used blade in your regular razor Get out a new razor, or replace the used blade in your regular razor. Squirt a dollop of shaving cream into your hand or shake out shaving powder, and apply it to your beard in upward circular motions. The amount may vary depending on the thickness of your beard, but the area to be shaved should be covered uniformly. Shave downward, the way your whiskers grow, from your sideburns toward your mandible using long, even strokes. Apply light but firm pressure, pulling your skin taut before each stroke.
Rinse your razor with warm water after every stroke or two to keep it from getting clogged with hair. Shave the area around your chin. Shave upward as necessary to make the area smooth. When shaving under your chin, pull the razor from your throat area toward your chin. Shave your upper lip, keeping the skin tight by curling your lip over your front teeth. Wash off any excess shaving cream and examine your face for straggling hairs. Check the edge of your jaw, around your ears, and near your lips and nostrils for missed hairs. Go back with the razor to shave any hairs you missed. Drain and wash out the basin and apply cold water or aftershave as desired.
BEFORE SHAVING TIPS FOR SHAVING First cleanse your face properly using warm or hot water. It will soften the beard and help open up the pores. Use a gentle, creamy shaving lotion as this softens the hair and makes shaving easy. Massage your shaving cream or oil into the area to be shaved. Shaving oil or cream will give you the best results and be a lot less drying. Don’t use foams, gels and products that contain agents such as benzocaine or menthol. They may give a great lather but can really dry and irritate the skin, close your pores and stiffen your beard.
TIPS WHILE SHAVING Use hot water while shaving. It helps to soften the beard, open pores and cleanse skin. Make sure your razor is sharp. Old, blunt blades spoil a shave. They drag the skin and do not give a clean shave. For better shaving control, razor handle should be heavier. Always first, shave in the same direction as hair growth, this prevents in-growth to a large extent. Short strokes are a better option than a long drag as they give a cleaner shave. Do not apply too much pressure on the shaving razor, because this will cause skin burns and irritations. Instead glide it gently across the face. Rinse your razor in the hot water.
AFTER SHAVING TIPS Finish by rinsing off with cool water. It will close the skin pores. Then afterwards, use a skin toner to remove any residue, close the pores and refresh the skin. For cuts, use a moistened alum block to stop the bleeding. Apply a moisturizing aftershave lotion on the shaved areas. Avoid alcohol-based aftershaves lotions as they tend to dry the skin. In the last, use a moisturizer over the face and neck to keep the skin firm and supple. Or apply an after shave cream to keep your skin moist and fresh with UV protection.

Normal hair Dry hair Oily hair Damaged hair TYPES OF HAIR
NORMAL HAIR This is the most ideal hair Soft and easy to manage. It is shining, well balanced and does not dry out. To maintain this hair a well balanced diet and proper care is essential.
DRY HAIR It is due to inactive oil glands. It also caused by other factors like over exposure to the sun, using harsh shampoo, chemical treatment and improper diet. This accumulated oil, block the pores not allowing the oil to flow on to the surface. This hair needs plenty of nourishment.
OILY HAIR This is due to over secretion of oil. Hence the scalp and hairs gets too oily. These are of sticky in appearance. It is easily recognizable. These are very much susceptible to outer environmental conditions like dirt and dust. These need to be carefully managed and should be washed two to three times in a week.
DAMAGED HAIR Heat-styling causes long-term damage to hair if not properly moisturized, resulting in hair that is constantly fried and frizzy, making it difficult to manage. But styling isn't the only cause of follicle damage. Changing the different hair styles and color causes damage to the hair. Weather-beaten hair becomes dry and brittle over time, splitting into two or three fibres at the tips.
MY HAIR TYPE I have a dry hair. My hair is soft .so I apply conditioner weekly once. I also have hair fall problem. so I use Almond Oil 5 ml + coconut oil 3 drops. Apply it on scalp, take hot towel steam, keep it for 10 min. and rinse it.
The most common causes for dry hair are as follows. • One of the major causes for dry hair is malnutrition. Lack of certain nutrients in your daily dietary plan may result in dry hair.• Over exposure to sun is another cause for drying of hair.• Excessive use of certain hair styling products that may contain some harsh chemicals may also lead to this problem.• If you wash your hair very often, it can also cause drying of hair.• Drying your hair with hair dryer at a very high temperature can also cause loss of moisture, thereby resulting in dry hair.• Intake of certain medicines such as antibiotics can also cause the problem of dry hair.• Prolonged illness can also lead to dry and brittle hair.
Tips for dry hair Brush your on regular basis Always use a mild shampoo. Never brush wet hair. This might cause the hair to stretch and thereby break off. Dry it with your fingers or wide-tooth comb. Restrict blow drying your hair. Never use dyes, instead of dyes use henna. Never wash your hair with too hot or cold water. Never go out in the sun without covering your head. Add iron and minerals in the natural form in your diet.
HOME REMEDIES FOR HAIR This is nothing as nourishing as a warm oil massage. Take half a cup of coconut oil. Crush 4 almonds and add to oil. Steam this mixture by placing it inside a pan. Apply while still warm, deep into the scalp and into roots of your hair. Cover your head with a towel and leave it on for half an hour. Shampoo your hair. Mix the juice of two lemons in a bowl of water and apply this on your scalp and hair. Gently massage your scalp with your fingertips. After about and hour wash your hair with normal cold water. This is one of the most effective home remedies for dry hair and scalp. Mix aloe Vera juice and curd in equal quantities and apply on your scalp. Keep it for about 20 to 30 minutes and thoroughly rinse your hair with cold water. Using this remedy twice a week will solve your problem of dry hair.
blend some baking soda, oatmeal, and vanilla extract in to a paste and mix it in a tub of warm water. Soak in the tub for as long as you like and say goodbye to dry skin. Henna is an herbal remedy that you can use at home to moisturize dry hair. Take about three spoons full of henna powder and mix it with some tea liquor. Now add some fresh yoghurt to it and make a paste mixing them well. Leave it to stand overnight and in the morning apply it on the hair. Leave it to dry for an hours and then gently rinse with a soft shampoo. Regular application of henna improves the quality of hair.
