  2. Human Resources  Hiring right people for right position ,fit for temperament.  E.g, before we hire to make sure if he is a good team player and will stick to the task until its completed.
  3. Human Resources  Engaging your Long tenured Employee  E.g., If they are hired they know that that they will be adapting to the organization's culture.  Maintain their morale high and keeping them happy and stimulated is an important factor.
  4. Human Resources  Succession Planning, Future to the Organization.  E.g., To have already the people will need to be going forward to the profit of company’s future.
  5. Managing Change  Managing Change: As the organizations are going Global this is one problem faced by many organisations of managing the change in the organisation and how to make people acquainted with the changes.  This can be the change in company policy and procedures, their mission, goal and objectives etc.
  6. Work Culture  Work Culture: Due to acquisition and mergers taking place it becomes important for the HR Manager to develop the work culture.  Culture is a complicated phenomena  Different countries have different culture
  7. Ethics and Values  Ethics and Values: In the times when we are getting more professional and narcissist, it is very important to have Ethics and values to be in place which also in the long run decides the sustainability of the organisation.
  8. Balancing work and personal life  Balancing work and personal life: Huge responsibility is on the shoulder of an HR Manager to create a balance between the work life and personal life by flexi work hours, paternity leaves( Yes it is what most companies are starting) and vacations are some of the options in hand.
  9. Managing low attrition rate  Managing low attrition rate: More competition also adds to high attrition. Now here is the opportunity for the HR manager to play safe and introduce good retention strategies.  Need to make sure that the turn over of the employees are at minimum
  10. Stress and Conflict  Stress and Conflict: Long working hours, target pressures, high competition etc. adds stress and conflicts in the Organisation.  It is the duty of an HR Manager to have proper responses to the stress and conflict before it causes damage to someone's personality.
  11. Restructuring Organisation  Restructuring Organisation: As the trend is changing so the organisation structure.  The organisation are getting more flatter and simpler.  Over past few year, there is a huge change in political, economical, social and technological environment of business.  HR managers need to use different strategies to tackle these situations.
  12. Globalisation  Globalisation: Companies are going global due to which the workforce diversity is increasing. Managing these people with different religious, cultural, moral background is a challenging task for the HR Managers in 21st Century.
