The costumes in the film opening are based on research of costumes from other post-apocalyptic films like The Book of Eli to represent people struggling in a new world. The film opening challenges typical post-apocalyptic film ideologies by not including zombies and using natural disasters instead of zombies as the cause of the post-apocalyptic setting. Wide long shots of open space are used to reinforce the idea of natural disasters and show the desertedness of the world.

The costumes used in the film opening are
based on costumes I have researched from
various post apocalyptic films. Watching
other post apocalyptic films inspired us to
use costumes that represent their
struggling life through the new world.
Most of our costumes were based on the
book of eli.

4. Our film opening challenges the ideologies
normally seen in post apocalyptic films. From
my research post apocalyptic films normally
include zombies as the event that created the
issue. By not including zombies and using
natural disasters as the issue that caused the
post apocalyptic we created an original film
opening. We reinforce the idea of natural
disasters we used wide long shots of open
space to show the desertedness of the world.
