Commodity ManagerforSunPowerCorporation,managing all Services Procurement for SunPower's EPC Procurement team, including pre-
award contract and subcontract negotiations,on a large scale $2,500,000,000.00 solar EPC project in the Mohave Desert's Antelope Valley
near Los Angeles. He also completed a contractorassignment where he served as a SeniorContract ReviewAnalyst forWestinghouse Electric
Company's NuclearPowerPlants Division,on Westinghouse AP1000nuclearreactorprojects forthe $3,000,000,000.00 Sanmen Nuclear Power
Plant project in Zhejiang, China and on Southern Company’s$3,000,000,000.00 Vogtle Nuclear Project in Georgia.
Prior to these,James led multiple EPC projects forthe LowerColorado River Authority(LCRA), the providerofenergy,water,and community
services throughout CentralTexas. One ofthe projects included spearheading a $400,000,000.00 installation ofa Flue Gas Desulphurization(FGD)
scrubberat the Fayette PowerPlant.
Prior to the above in 2006, he was Senior Bids,Proposals,& Procurement SpecialistII,IndustrialClient Group for CH2M Hill. He co-led all
SouthwestRegionalbids andproposals andprocurement activities andplayeda pivotalrole in the successofprojects with values rangingfrom
$5,000,000.00 to $100,000,000.00.
At KBR Inc.,he served as Lead SeniorBids,Proposals,and Contract Administrator.In this role,he led bids and proposals and contract
administration fora $200,000,000.00 design-and-build EPC 200,000 square footpayload processingfacility at Cape Canaveral,Florida,for the
United States AirForce NationalReconnaissance Office (NRO).
While at Lucent Technologies,James spearheaded bidsand proposals andcontractdevelopmentand negotiationsfunctions fortelephony projects
targeting Fortune 100companies and valuedat up to $500,000,000.00. A yearearlier, he served as EPC Contract ManagerforReliant Energy,where
he oversawthe management ofa $350,000,000 EPC joint venture contract toconstruct a 650MW combined cycle gas plant.
From 1995 to 2001, James was a senior-ranking managerin the areas ofprocurementand contract managementforsuch globalcompaniesas
Duke/FluorDaniel and Centraland South West Services,Inc.The latterwas a publicly-tradedFortune 500utility holding company with
approximately 30 powergeneratingplantsand4electricaloperating companies in the Southwest. It was acquired by American Electric Powerin
2000. During 1995 - 2000, James served as the ContractManagerforallmajor contracts and procurement for the 15powerplants ofWest Texas
Utilities Company and Public Service Company of Oklahoma and as the Sales Contract ManagerforCSW Energy. His achievements in theseroles
included:authoring,negotiating,and administering 38subcontracts with a totalvalue of$72,000,000.00 for Duke/FluorDaniel; and achieving
$1,200,000.00 in annualprocurement savingsby facilitating efforts tocentralize the procurement operations of4utility companies within 18 months
for Centraland South WestServices,Inc.
Prior to these,James servedin a variety of Bids,Proposals,Contracts andPurchasing roles,in the municipal,county,state planning region,
telecommunications,anddefenseindustries onmultimillion dollar bids,proposals,andprojects includinghighly classified DODaircraft repair,
reconnaissance,and Command,Control,Communications,and Intelligenceprojects. James W.Kendrickis a dynamic EPC executive with the
