This is the first day outline for our writing program. Students will create a heart map, learn how to use Edmodo and create a voki using the heart map as their guide.

Passwords and notes
 On the inside of your journal, please write a list of your passwords
and emails for our program.
 As we add additional programs, this list will grow.
 There are 3 pieces of information we will record today:
 Writing for Change email
 Edmodo name and password
 Voki name and password

What is Edmodo?
Edmogo is a tool we will use to communicate with
each otther.

How to Log In to Edmodo?
 Go to www.edmodo.com
 For new users to Edmodo
 Select the I’m a student button.
 Fill out the registration form with the Group code e6s6uiyour
unique username and password. You do not need an email address.
 Select the sign up button to complete the sign up process. You will
then see our Writing For Change 2014 on the sidebar.
 If you already have an edmodo account, then use the code to join an
existing class. We will help you sign up using our group code.
