Genetic differences between men and women, particularly when analyzing the "Y" chromosome (Based on research by Dr. David Page - Director of the Whitehead Institute and professor of biology at MIT)
2. On this subject of genetic differences
between men and women, I recommend
analyzing the research of Dr. David Page,
professor of biology at MIT, see this
conference at TED:
Why Sex Really Matters
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQcgD5DpVlQ
In it, Dr. Page highlights this essential
aspect:
DIFFERENCES AND COMPLEMENTARITY BETWEEN MEN & WOMEN
Dr. David Page
3. “… it is been said many times, that our
genomes are all 99.9% identical, from one
person to the next. This idea that we're
99.9% identical has gained great traction
and for a number of reasons -It's very
appealing to say that we are all 99.9%
identical - It's so appealing that this idea
was seized upon by President Bill Clinton
in his 2000 State of the Union address
when he stated that, "This fall, at the White
House... we had a distinguished scientist
visiting, an expert in this work on the
human genome, and he said that we are all,
regardless of race, genetically 99.9% the
same."

DIFFERENCES AND COMPLEMENTARITY BETWEEN MEN & WOMEN
4. Wow -- it turns out that this idea is even
correct as long as, the two individuals
being compared are both men. It's also
correct, if the two individuals being
compared are both women. However, if you
compare the genome of a man with the
genome of a woman, you'll find that they
are actually only 98.5% identical. In other
words, the genetic difference between a
man and a woman is 15 times the genetic
difference between two men or between
two women.Dr. David Page
DIFFERENCES AND COMPLEMENTARITY BETWEEN MEN & WOMEN
5. Let us consider, for example, the case of Bill and Hillary - So, it
turns out that Bill is as genetically similar to Hillary, as he is to a
male chimpanzee.
DIFFERENCES AND COMPLEMENTARITY BETWEEN MEN & WOMEN
6. By analyzing the human genome one can better understand this
enormous differentiation between man and woman. It is because of
these wonderful differences in nature and design that we are
predisposed to be and to function in complementarity, thus
constituting the basis of conjugality, marriage and family
Chromosome XY = Male
Chromosome XX = Female

7. DIFFERENCES AND COMPLEMENTARITY BETWEEN MEN & WOMEN
To divide the human race into heterosexuals & homosexuals is a
false dichotomy - Human sexuality is binary by purpose and design:
men and women
Chromosome XY = Male -- Chromosome XX = Female
“What is real, natural, and
biologically and scientifically
true, is that there are only two
sexes: male and female. They
are determined specifically in
genetic, chromosomal,
chromatin, gonadal, hormonal,
anatomical and physiological
forms."

8. Very few exceptions - "Gender Incongruity"
There are few exceptions of a very low percentage,
such as the "Harry Benjamin Syndrome" (affecting 1
in 100,000 men and 1 in 30,000 women), which is
precisely the case of Charlotte Goiar who was born
with that "congenital dysphoria" recognized as
“Gender Incongruity"and was the first person in
Spain with a sex change operation, pay by the Social
Security following the decision of the Supreme Court
of Justice.Charlotte Goiar
Then there are cases of "monosomy" (only one X chromosome, "Turner Syndrome",
affecting 1 in 25000. They are women but with reproductive dysfunctions).
There is also the case of three "trisomies":
"XXY" - Klinefelter syndrome (they have male traits and 50% spontaneously
miscarriages occur in 1 out of 700);
"XYY" - (affects 1 in 1000, "supermale" are males and have reproductive difficulties;
"XXX" - (affects 1 in 1200, are women and have reproductive difficulties)
9. God (or nature)
designed us this way
Cromosoma XY = Hombre
Cromosoma XX = Mujer
... man and woman,
there is nothing else
in the middle ...

10. The designed of man and woman uniting as husband and wife are
so different and complementary that for an endless forever they will
be able to continue learning deeper and deeper aspects of each
other and continue to grow more intimately in love and happiness
