2. What’s it for?
As a student, you have a lot of things on your mind. You need to
remember assignment deadlines, project group meetings, exam
dates and, occasionally, you’ll need to remember the milk.
Most of us carry a mobile phone. Wouldn’t it be great if we could
be reminded of stuff via a text message?
Your teacher has shared a calendar with you. Instead of having
to sign in to your Google Calendar to check for new events why
not receive an SMS notification whenever your teacher posts
something new?
In these set of instructions you’ll learn to set up your SMS
notifications and, perhaps, never forget a thing again.
You can also create your own shared calendar and
add group members to a project or assignment.

3. Setup and validate
your mobile number

4. Configure your
calendars’ notifications

Return to Calendar AT

Create two SMS reminders.
Click on Notifications for the

calendar you wish to receive your choosing, say 1 week,
SMS notifications from. and set the other reminder
to 1 minute. This allows you
to receive any last minute
