at the Dartmouth conference in 1956 organized by John
McCarthy, father of Artificial Intelligence.
• Artificial Intelligence is the study of how to make computers
behave intelligently.
• The capability of a machine to imitate intelligent human
behavior.
• It is the science and engineering of making intelligent
machines.
• processes include learning , reasoning ,self-correction, visual
perception, decision-making, and translation between

A self-driving car, also known as a robot
car, autonomous car, auto, or driverless
car , is a vehicle that is capable of sensing
its environment and moving without human input.
Automated recommendation
A recommender system is a technology that is deployed
in the environment where items (products, movies,
events, articles)are to be recommended
to users (customers, visitors, app users, readers) . In
case of online marketing and shopping, personal
recommendations can be generated by an artificial
merchant: the recommender system.

Quick foreign language translation is
a “must-have” in today’s fast global
marketplace. You need to understand more in less time to get
things done efficiently. You need an automatic language
translator.

Speech recognition
Speech recognition is the ability
of a machine or program to identify
words and phrases in spoken language and convert them to a
machine-readable format.
The most frequent applications of speech recognition within
the enterprise include call routing, speech-to-text processing,
voice dialing and voice search.

Natural language processing helps computers
communicate with humans in their own language and
scales other language-related tasks. For example, NLP
makes it possible for computers to read text, hear
speech, interpret it.

In video games, artificial intelligence (AI) is used to

primarily in non-player characters(NPCs) similar to
human-like intelligence. The role of AI in video games
has expanded greatly since its introduction. Modern

field of artificial intelligence such as path
finding and decision trees to guide the actions of NPCs.

It does not include naturally occurring capabilities
(which would be part of biology). It includes facets
of mechanical engineering, electronic
engineering, information engineering, computer
science, and others.

south by southwest show in march
2016 .she can animate a full range of facial expressions,
and is able to track and recognize faces, look people in
the eye.

Sony announced the release of its
latest robotic dog, ‘aibo’. this evolution
of the autonomous robot can ‘form an emotional bond
with members of the household while providing them
with love, affection, and the joy of nurturing and raising
a companion
