Factors that must be considered in remediating a site include: Contaminant factors (e.g., nonaqueous phase liquids, high sorption potential, etc.) Contaminant characteristics (e.g., volatility, water solubility, water/octanol coefficient, etc.) Hydrogeological factors (e.g., heterogeneities, permeabilities, fractures, etc.) Design factors (e.g., well spacing, pumping rates, well location, screened intervals, etc.) None of the above All of the above (a, b, c, and d) b and d only
Solution
The remediation and reclamation plan used to estimate costs in areas where complete plume delineation is not possible must document the considerations taken into account and the assumptions used to estimate costs. An explanation for each factor listed below is required, including an explanation of the site-specific condition, the related assumptions, and how they were factored into the volume estimate. A sketch of the plume overlaid on the site drawing showing the sample points must accompany the volume estimate. As a minimum, the following factors must be considered when estimating soil remediation costs:
Looks like everything fit for f but you know I am giving a more detailed list for this question, and you should know that eveyrthing is important in this case and you should consider all the contaminants, hydrogeological and design factors.
