- Introducing the Center Chi wellness office
- At Center Chi our mission is to make people healthier, more relaxed, and self-confident. We strive to teach protection and flexibility, while training the mind and body. We are here to lead our members live a well—balanced life.
- Our location currently consists of about 600 members. These members are moderated and assisted by a staff of 30 employees.
- The responsibilities of these 30 employees consist of everything from checking membership cards at the front door to protecting lives in our heated pool.
- Center Chi allows members access to many resources to help enhance their health: personal trainers, dietary professionals, several aquatic facilities and a vast collection of equipment for that 3 times a week work out.
- For members with special interests many classes are available including aerobics, several martial arts, self defense classes, and even lifeguard instruction.
- A feature unique to our wellness center is the Center Chi Café. The Café provides a menu of health conscious foods and beverages to Center Chi members.
- The Center Chi Store provides everything you need for your workout.
- Our wellness offices provides desktop computers for employees as well as our members. Wireless internet is available throughout the complex on a closed network.
- The employee computers are strictly for work purposes only and have a wide range of applications for the staff to do their jobs effectively. Windows XP is the Operating System currently used by our employees.
- The computers for members also run Windows XP. The applications are not as extensive but meet their purpose. The member-use computers allow for research as well as help in organization of any training regime
- A Power Edge M160 Server and wireless routers from Linksys allow us to provide internet throughout the facility.
- Child Care is available for parents during their workout at Center Chi.
