3. Introductions and greetings.
• In Spain when we meet to another person (it
doesn’t matter if it is the first time you meet
him/her)it is normal to kiss each other on the
cheeks.

4. Gift giving etiquette.
• In Spain when you receive a gift it is common to
open it in front of the person who gave it to you.
If you are going to give a present you mustn’t
forget to remove the price tag.

5. Dining etiquette.
• In Spain we have dinner between half past nine and ten
o’clock in the evening. You mustn’t use your mobile or
smartphone when sitting the table, you should help to
set the table and clear it up, you mustn’t put your elbows
and both hands on the table. And it is also very common
to have dinner all the family gathered. If you are the host
you mustn’t leave the table before your guest finishes.
• The guest should take a small gift to the host, a bottle of
wine, chocolates, flowers…

6. Social norms in Public Spaces.
• Whistling in streets is impolite.
• You should not wear tracksuit ior sports clothes
at smart restaurants, churches…
• And obviously you shouldn’t talk loud in public
areas or in the bus, the underground…

7. School rules in your countries.
• Don’t bring any smartphone, mp3 or something
like that.
• You must be punctual or you will be told off or
punished.
• You mustn’t eat chewing gum in class.
• You mustn’t wear a hood, or snapbacks over
your head in class or in the highschool.
