14. Inspiration The Documentary 1000 Journals is a film by Andrea Kreuzhage about people whose lives are touched by 1000 traveling journals. This film tells their stories. 1000 Journals shares the experience of their worldwide journeys, and chronicles the self-governed collaboration of thousands of random people who have added to this global 'message in a bottle.' Inspiration for the project

37. My name is Tiko. I am 12. I live in fantastic Georgia. Georgia became independent but Russia does not like our independence and in 2008 occupied my country.

38. My name is Mariam. I am 9. I am living in Napetwrebi. I like fruits. My countrys most typical animal is the Aurochs, the Caucasian Tur. My hobbies are mountaineering, dancing and painting. There was a war in my country last year. Outside my window I watch Georgia’s nature and understand its voices.

39. My name is Saba Chkheidze. I am 10 years old. I live in Georgia. My city has one beautiful history. That place where Tbilist is now was covered with wood. Where many wild animals were living. Once, when King Vakhtana was hunting his sparrow-hawk followed the fizen Sparrowhawk and fizen fell in the rivine. In this rivine there was warm weather. Because of it King Vakhtana called Tbilisi. My city is 1500 years old. I look from the window, I can see the street, supermarket, cars and high buildings.

42. TO AUSTRIA WE SPEAK GERMAN. We celebrate St Nicolaus, Christmas and Easter. Also festivals in the village when the cows come down from the high pasture.

43. TO JAPAN My name is Sierra. I like soba soup, yakisoba, sushi, fish, teriyaki chicken, taco rice. During cherry blossom season (is a time when beautiful flowers bloom). I wear t-shirts, jeans, tennis shoes, and traditional kimono dress.

44. TO ITALY CHRISTINA MCINTYRE (OUR PRINCIPAL MRS MCALLISTER’S NIECE). THIS IS HER HUSBAND WHO PLAYS BASKETBALL IN ITALY. It is beautiful here. We have singers like Eros Ramazzotti and Vasco Rossi. We can watch tv from USA on our computer.

48. SHARING WITH OTHERS After sharing and comparing journals in Art class, 5 th grader Elizabeth shared them with visitors at the All-County Art Show on March 28.
