2. Find Your Wings
Mark Harris
It’s only for a moment you were mine to hold.
The plans that heaven has for you will all too soon unfold.
So many different prayers I’ll pray for all that you might do.
But most of all I want to know that you’re walking in the truth.
And if I never told you
I want you to know
That as I watch you grow…
I pray that God would fill your heart with dreams
And that faith gives you the courage to dare to do great things.
I’m here for you whatever this life brings
So let my love give you roots
And help you find your wings
May passion be the wind that leads you through your days
And may conviction keep you strong and guide you on your way
May there be many moments that make your life so sweet.
Oh but more than memories….
I pray that God would fill your heart with dreams
And that faith gives you the courage to dare to do great things.
I’m here for you whatever this life brings
So let my love give you roots
And help you find your wings
It’s not living if you don’t reach for the sky.
I’ll have tears as you take off….
But I’ll cheer as you fly….
I pray that God would fill your heart with dreams
And that faith gives you the courage to dare to do great things.
I’m here for you whatever this life brings
So let my love give you roots
And help you find your wings.
3. Sing Over Me
Bethany Dillon and Nichole Nordeman
I live in the wonder of Your Love
You rise like the sun in my heart.
Even when the night draws near to me,
There You are
I wade in the water of mercy
I will walk in the light of Your will
Whatever should come against me
Teach me to be still
Chorus: As you sing over me
Draw me close
To rest in your peace
Sing Over Me
Oh sing
Sing of your unending faithfulness
That knows no doubt or fear
In the face of all that I don't know yet
Remind me of who You are
Chorus
You are mighty
You will save
Rejoice over me with singing
You will quiet by your love
Glory over me with singing
4. Stand Beside Me
Hot House Flowers
He has been living through the pages of our time
Known as a true man
Pure and sublime
Comes from the earth
And out of the skies
From the four corners of the compass
And into our lives
He is followed
He who is true
To what there is to be believed in
To the spirit of you
Comes from the day
And out of the night
It's in all things natural
It's in all things right
Oh
Sometimes it's just not that easy
Oh
Sometimes I got to call you, call you
Stand beside me God
Stand beside me
Stand before me
And behind me
So I can follow in love
And it all sails so smoothly with a prayer at each hand
We all carry our stones, our good books
On the Holy ground, we stand
True to the day, true to the night
It's got to be natural, it's got to be right
Oh
Sometimes it's still not that easy
No
Sometimes I'm not the man I think I am
Feel I am
Hope I am
Know I am
Stand beside me
Stand beside me
Stand before me
And behind me
So I can be true, so I can be true to my word
Stand beside me
Stand beside me
Stand before me
Stand beside me
5. Face Of Christ
Chris Rice
He shares a room outside
With a dozen other guys
And the only roof he knows
Is that sometimes starry sky
A tattered sleeping bag on a
Concrete slab is his bed
And it's too cold to talk tonight
So I just sit with him instead and think
Chorus: How did I find myself
In a better place
I can't look down on the
Frown on the other guy's face
'Cause when I stoop down low
Look him square in the eye
I get a funny feeling
I just might be dealing
With the face of Christ
After sixteen years in
A cold, gray prison yard
Somehow his heart is soft
But keeping simple faith is hard
He lays his Bible open on
The table next to me
And as I heard his humble prayer
I feel his longing to be free someday
Chorus
See you had no choice
Which day you would be born
Or the color of your skin
Or what planet you'd be on
Would your mind be strong
Would your eyes be blue or brown
Whether daddy would be rich
Or if momma stuck around at all
So if you find yourself
In a better place
You can't look down
On the frown
On the other guy's face
You gotta stoop down low
Look him square in the eye
And get a funny feeling
'cause you might be dealing
Chorus
6. You Are The Sun
Sara Groves
You are the sun shining down on everyone
Light of the world giving light to everything I see
Beauty so brilliant I can hardly take it in
And everywhere you are is warmth and light
And I am the moon with no light of my own
Still You have made me to shine
And as I glow in this cold dark night
I know I can’t be a light unless I turn my face to You
You are the sun shining down on everyone
Light of the world giving light to everything I see
Beauty so brilliant I can hardly take it in
And everywhere you are is warmth and light
And I am the moon with no light of my own
Still You have made me to shine
And as I glow in this cold dark night
I know I can’t be a light unless I turn my face to You
Shine on me with your light
Without You I’m a cold dark stone
Shine on me, I have no light of my own
You are the sun, You are the sun, You are the sun
And I am the moon
You have made me to shine
And as I glow in this cold dark night
I know I can’t be a light unless I turn my face to You
No I’ll never be a light until I turn my face to You
No I will never be a light until I turn my face to You
No I will never be a light until I turn myself to You
7. Own Me
Ginny Owens
Got a stack of books,
So I could learn how to live;
Many are left half-read,
Covered by the cobwebs on my shelf.
And I got a list of laws,
Growing longer everyday;
If I keep pluggin' away,
Maybe one day I'll perfect myself.
Oh, but all of my labor,
Seems to be in vain;
And all of my laws,
Just cause me more pain;
So I fall before You,
In all of my shame;
Ready and willing to be changed-
Chorus: Own me
Take all that I am,
And heal me
With the blood of the Lamb.
Mold me
With Your gracious hand;
Break me till I'm only Yours-
Own me
Oh, you call me Daughter,
And you take my blame;
And you run to meet me,
When I cry out Your name,
So I fall before You,
In all of my shame.
Lord, I am willing to be changed
Chorus
8. Mountains
Lonestar
Lucinda Jones workin' at the I-Hop
Ten years worth of bacon, eggs and tears
She's waited on every creed and color,
While waitin' on this day to get here
Graveyard shifts, two bit tips,
Makin' every quarter count,
Was worth it all to see her son,
In that cap and gown
Chorus: There are times in life when you gotta crawl,
Lose your grip, trip and fall
When you can't lean on no-one else:
That's when you find yourself
I've been around and I've noticed that
Walkin's easier when the road is flat
Them danged ol' hills'll get you every time
Yeah, the good Lord gave us mountains,
So we could learn how to climb
Private Bobby Dunn came back from the war,
Lost his leg but they couldn't take his will
Hell bent to run in that local marathon,
He trained through the endless pain and pills
It hurt so bad that sometimes,
He just had to cry,
He didn't stop until he crossed
That finish line
This world ain't fair,
It can knock you on your butt
You can just lie there,
Or you can get back up
You gotta get back up
9. Me & God
Josh Turner (featuring Ralph Stanley)
There ain't nothing that can't be done
By me and God
Ain't nobody come in between me and God
One day we'll live together
Where the angels trod
Me and God
Early in the morning talking it over
Me and God
Late at night talking it over
Me and God
You could say where like two peas in a pod
Me and God
He's my Father
He's my friend
The beginning
And the end
He rules the world
With a staff and rod
We're a team
Me and God
I am weak and he is strong
Me and God
He forgives me when I'm wrong
Me and God
He's the one I lean on
When life gets hard
Me and God
He's my Father
He's my friend
The beginning
And the end
He rules the world
With a staff and rod
We're a team
Me and God
He rules the world
With a staff and rod
We're a team
Me and God
We're a team
Me and God
10. Out Of Control
Mindy Smith
The blood is dry and the wounds I hide
The scars are settling in
So I keep the light low
And they still show
I sit and count every stitch
Chorus: And what it means
What it really means
It’s time I let everything go that’s
Killing me, and turning me
Spinning me so out of control
I don’t want to let go.
I don’t want to let go.
I don’t know what for
But these open doors
Keep slamming in on me
And if life’s a joke, then it’s getting old
I hope God’s looking out for me
Chorus
The blood is dry and the wounds I hide
The scars are settling in
“This song is very true to the fact that I don’t always cope so well with life. I often feel like I’m in the funnel
cloud of a tornado, clutching at whatever I can but realizing that I’m only holding onto something that’s
spinning around and around. So what do you do? You let go. But where are you going to land? It’s a prideful
issue: I’m going, ‘I can do this! Let me do this!’ And then I screw it up and God goes, ‘See? You should have
let me help.’ That’s what this is about – a spiritual battle.” – Mindy Smith
11. Too Much
Leeland
All these places I have been
All these faces I have seen
Too much, too much
All these bricks and all these stones
Have all been cast they’ve all been thrown
Too hard, too hard
Find me in the background looking down
You’ll never see my face
I’m looking down
I need a place a sanctuary
A refuge for my ordinary
Finally familiar peaceful home
Untroubled safe from all this madness
Refuge for my hope and sadness
Possible to find myself alone
At home
All these cliffs and all these heights
They’ve just been too high to climb
Too high, too high
All these waves and all these seas
Have all been crashing down on me
Too much, too much
I’ve found my home again
I finally find myself in You
I finally find myself in You
I feel safe again
You’re the One I’m running to
You’re the One I’m running to
12. Lay Me Down
David Crosby & Graham Nash
Driving out through the windmills
and some of them were still
Sometimes it's hard to catch the wind
and bend it to your will
Even though it's hard to know
just how the story ends
The road is long and takes its time
on that you can depend
Lay me down in the river
and wash this place away
Break me down like sand from a stone
maybe I'll be whole again one day
Lay me down, lay me down
Maybe I'll be whole again
Lay me down, lay me down
Maybe I'll be whole again
Somewhere between heaven and hell
a soul knows where it's been
I want to feel my spirit lifted up
and catch my breath again
Lay me down in the river
and wash this place away
Break me down like sand from a stone
Maybe I'll be whole again one day
Lay me down, lay me down
Maybe I'll be whole again
Lay me down, lay me down
Maybe I'll be whole again
Lay me down, lay me down
Maybe I'll be whole again one day
13. Stubborn (Psalm 151)
Lee Ann Womack
There's a whole lot of stubborn in this room
There's a whole lot of pride that won't let go
There's a whole lot of stubborn in this room
That shows no sign of giving up control
I've drawn all the curtains
I've turned out all the lights
Scared to death somebody else might see
There's a whole lot of stubborn in this room
And there's no one here but me
There's a whole lot of demons in this room
They want it all, and they don't wanna share
There's a whole lot of demons in this room
And none of them believe in fighting fair
Some sit on my left
Some sit on my right
They talk so loud it's hard to disagree
I'm surrounded by the demons in this room
And there's no one here but me
And I can't quite remember how to pray anymore
I can't quite remember what to say anymore
If it turns out that I can't have my way anymore
How will I know which way to turn, when I walk out the door?
There's a molecule of faith in this room
What they used to call the mustard seed
There's a molecule of faith in this room
And a book that says that's all I'll ever need
I don't know where it is, but I hope I find it soon
Cause nothing else will ever set me free
There's a molecule of faith in this room
And even though it's much too small to see,
If I have the courage to believe
I'll find the One who left it here for me
“Stubborn (Psalm 151)”
(Don Schlitz, Brett James)
‘Stubborn’ is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard in my life. When I heard the demo, I couldn’t believe it. It
brought me to my knees. I got about halfway through the song and literally, tears were streaming down my
face. It’s funny because I came home one time, nobody was home, but there was this CD lying on the
kitchen counter that had ‘Psalm 151’ written on it. I thought, ‘If someone wrote a song and entitled it ‘Psalm
151,’ that must be an important Psalm, but for the life of me I couldn’t remember that one.’ So I went and got
my Bible, and found there was no Psalm 151. I was eager to hear the song so I put the CD in and was
crying by the middle of the song. When Frank came home I met him at the door and asked him what it was.
After listening to it he said, ‘That might be one of the best songs I’ve ever heard.’
14. Living Hallelujah
Sarah Kelly
Who am I?
That You came to earth for me
To die on a tree?
And Who are you?
Son of man, Son of God
Yes, I believe it's true
More than words I bring to You
May all I say and may all I do be
Hallelujah, hallelujah
May everything about me be
Hallelujah to my King
Hallelujah, hallelujah
May everything about me be hallelujah
All of me
I surrender completely
Take control
I want all of You
So I'm letting go
I am healed and I'm forgiven
I am free because I'm living
It's all so clear, it's all so clear
I was born to worship
Hallelujah, hallelujah
May everything about me be hallelujah
15. Glory
Selah & Nichole Nordeman
One day eyes that are blind will see you clearly
And one day all who deny will finally believe
One day hearts made of stone will break in pieces
And one day chains once unbroken will fall down at your feet
So we wait for that one day come quickly
Chorus : We want to see your Glory
Every knee falls down before thee
Every tongue offers you praise
With every hand raised
Singing Glory
To you and unto you only
We'll sing Glory to Your name
One day voices that lie will all be silent
One day all that's divided will be whole again
One day death will retreat and wave it's white flag
One day love will defeat the strongest enemy
So we wait for that one day come quickly
Chorus
We know not the day or the hour
Or the moments in between
But we know the end of the story
When we'll see
Chorus
Heaven (Instrumental)
Jim Brickman
16. Hear My Worship
Jaime Jamgochian
Here, as I worship You
I long to be more honest
Long to be more free
I, long to be more real
Long to be transparent
As you see my true intentions
Beyond this bended Knee
Beyond the words I speak
Beyond the songs I sing
Hear My Worship
All that my heart can bring
This is my offering
Jesus my Holy King
Hear my worship
Hear my worship
I long to have more faith
I long to be more faithful
Here before Your throne
I wait to see Your face
Awaiting in your presence
Waiting just for you to hear me
Amazing Grace
Jim Brickman with Ginny Owens
17. Never Alone
Jim Brickman (Featuring Sara Evans)
May the angels protect you
Trouble neglect you
And heaven accept you when its time to go home
May you always have plenty
The glass never empty
Know in your belly
You’re never alone
May your tears come from laughing
You find friends worth having
As every year passes
They mean more than gold
May you win and stay humble
Smile more than grumble
And know when you stumble
You’re never alone
Chorus Never alone
Never alone
I’ll be in every beat of your heart
When you face the unknown
Wherever you fly
This isn’t goodbye
My love will follow you stay with you
Baby you’re never alone
I have to be honest
As much as I wanted
I’m not gonna promise that cold winds won’t blow
So when hard times have found you
And your fears surround you
Wrap my love around you
You’re never alone
Chorus
My love will follow you stay with you
Baby you’re never alone
So when hard times have found you
And your fears surround you
Wrap my love around you
You’re never alone
18. Bring Me To Life
Bebo Norman
I am a barren land
And it’s all I can do to stand
I am thirsty, I am thirsty
Father, reach out Your hand
I have given all that I can
Still I’m sinking, I’m still sinking
I want to run into the deep
And let the deep call out to me
I want to lose myself in Your love
So let it rain down over me
As I fall down to my knees
Let the ocean rise to meet me
I need You to bring me to life
Well of eternal things
Endless is all the life You bring
Be the water that I long for
And show me Your Kingdom Come
Father and let Your will be done
Here in me as it is in Heaven
19. The Water
Amy Grant
Quick sand
My heart is sinkin'
I try to run
But I can't stop thinkin'
I'm climbin' walls
I'm on the ceilin'
It's gonna take a miracle to heal me
I'm starin' down
Into the quarry
I see a stone
For every sorry
I'm on the edge
I'm goin' under
And after I die
I'm gonna rise from the water (oooh)
Chorus: I wanna blast off
Let gravity disappear
I'm tired of fallin', fallin', fallin' from the weight of fear
Come and lift me up into the clean and clear
I'm waitin' on you, Jesus, in the water here
So come and wash me clean
The sky is red, there's
Blood on my hands
I can't deny
I'm guilty where I stand
The verdict's in
I hear ‘em shoutin'
Send me a river to drown this mountain
Chorus
Oooh, Wash me clean, Aaahh, Aaahh
20. Please Forgive Me
Sarah Kelly
How I long to be like a child again
Nothing to win
Enjoying You enjoying me
Yesterday is gone
Life won't stay the same
How I have changed
But You are and always will be
How I long to be like a child again
Nothing to win
Loving You just loving me
Memories aren't enough
Oh how I long for You
And You long too
Right here, right now I believe
Hear me cry
Chorus: Please forgive me
Soften my heart I pray
Let me love You tomorrow
Even more than I do today
If You willed You would
My aspirings get the best of me
I'm sorry I push You so hard
It's not by might nor power
Holy Spirit consume me
My food is to do Your will
So hear me cry
Chorus
21. Sinner’s Prayer
Ray Charles & BB King
Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy on me.
Lord have mercy, Lord have mercy on me.
Well if I've done somebody wrong, Lord, have mercy if you please.
I used to have plenty of money, the finest clothes in town,
But bad luck and trouble overtaken me, bound to get me down.
Please have mercy, Lord have mercy on me.
Well if I've done somebody wrong, Lord, have mercy if you please.
Keep on working now, child.
Lord every morning.
Well if I've been a bad boy, baby, I declare I'll change my ways.
I don't want bad luck and trouble to follow me all my days.
Please have mercy, Lord have mercy on me.
Well if I've done somebody wrong, Lord, have mercy if you please.
22. A King & A Kingdom
Derek Webb
Who's your brother, who's your sister
You just walked passed him
I think you missed her
As we're all migrating to the place where our father lives
' cause we married in to a family of immigrants
Chorus: So my first allegiance is not to a flag, a country, or a man
My first allegiance is not to democracy or blood
It's to a King & a Kingdom
There are two great lies that I’ve heard:
“The day you eat of the fruit of that tree, you will not surely die”
And that Jesus Christ was a white, middle-class republican
and if you wanna be saved you have to learn to be like Him
Chorus
But nothing unifies like a common enemy
And we’ve got one, sure as hell
But he may be living in your house
He may be raising up your kids
He may be sleeping with your wife
Oh no, he may not look like you think
23. I’m Not The Only One Asking
Mindy Smith
Bird on the telephone wire
Come down and sing to me
Have you heard from my Father?
Have you any news to bring?
I know I’m not the only one asking
Among wandering souls down here
Can you shout it from the highest peak
Or at least whisper it in my ear
Knocked on the door of my neighbor
To ask him if had received
The holy key to heaven
My Father promised me?
I’m no the only one waiting
Among wandering souls down here
So brother, if you know the answer,
Please whisper it in my ear.
I’m reaching for heaven
Down on my knees
Down on my knees
I’m finally getting nearer to heaven,
And nearer to thee
I know I’m not the only one asking
Among wandering souls down here
Can you shout it from the highest peak
Or at least whisper it in my ear?
I’m Not the Only One Asking (Mindy Smith/Fred Wilhelm)
“Fred and I wrote this before I made my first record. I love gospel music, and I was inspired to find
that very spiritual/roots place. This might be way these lyrics come from a parable mentality: You
know that bird isn’t going to come down from that telephone wire and talk to you. Most people
know there aren’t really keys to Heaven. It’s just a metaphor for wanting somebody to come and
give you some absolutes, to help your life make sense. But nothing really is absolute … not until
you die.”
24. 800 Pound Jesus
Sawyer Brown
I saw a garage sale
Pulled up in the yard
Found a statue of Jesus
It was eight feet tall
He held out his arms
And he seemed all alone
So I loaded him up
And drove him home
Out by my driveway he
Looks down the street
With his long hair and sandals made
Of rebar and concrete
I painted him white with a long purple robe
He's a rock of ages on our gravel road
Chorus: He's an eight-hundred pound Jesus
Standing taller than a tree
He's an eight-hundred pound Jesus
A bigger man than you or me
I thought losing' my job was
The end of the world
Till my best pal ran off with my best girl
I felt suicidal with no real friends
So I walked outside with a rope in my hand
Out by that statue there's a big old tree
So I stood on his shoulders
And I counted to three
I had every intention of buying the farm
But when I jumped off he caught me in his arms
Chorus
I wanted to return the favor to him
Cause I never had a more solid friend
So I planted some flowers
All around his feet
And I bought him a flock
Of ceramic sheep
Chorus
He's a bigger man
Than you or me
25. Hey
Leeland
I’d give myself to find You
Stumble and fall to see You
You’re worth it all
To me You are
I’d swim across the stormy seas
And scream it from the mountain peaks
You’re worth it all
To me You are
Chorus: (And I said)
Hey You’re the One
That I’ve been looking for
And I found You here
And I found You here
Hey You’re the One
That I’ve been looking for
And I found You here
And I found You here
Thinking back on all the times
I passed You by with blinded eyes
I thought that I
Would be just fine
Tripping over all my lies
I saw You there with no disguise
You’re worth it all
To me You are
Chorus
Do you see my celebration
For this open invitation to Your arms, Your arms
It’s a beautiful fixation
As I find myself surrounded by Your love, Your love
Chorus
“This track breaks from the intensity of the record,” Jack Mooring says of the song that was in the running for
a Subaru car commercial. “And it’s our opportunity to be like The Beatles.” Leeland Mooring agrees, adding,
“‘Hey’ is just happy and easy to sing along with.”
26. Yes You Have
Leeland
Every tree and every stone
Every rushing wind that moans
They sing Your praise
My God, they sing Your praise
Every star and open sky
Tell of Your glory divine
They shout Your praise
They shout Your praise, yeah
You’ve stolen my heart
Yes, You have!
You’ve stolen my heart
Yes, You have!
You’ve wiped away the stains
And broke away the chains
Yes, You have!!
With Your love You set me free
Three nails gave me liberty
So I’ll sing Your praise
My God, I’ll sing Your praise
Oh, with Your love
You forgave my sin
Forgot my past
And brought me back again
So I’ll sing Your praise
I’ll sing Your praise, yeah
If I ascend into the sky
Or hide behind the night
I can not run Your love is chasing me
If I fall into the sea
Your hand will rescue me
No one will take Your place
Because
This is all for You
Yes, this is all for You
You’re the King of the world
You’re the King of the world
“You can’t run from God,” Jack Mooring says. “Psalm 139 says, ‘O Lord, you have searched me and known
me… Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?’ Instead, God captures our
hearts. Even if we try to run away from his love, it’s still going to find us. That’s how we feel as a band. We
feel God has taken over our hearts, and this song celebrates that.”
27. Galilee Road
Marcus Hummon
Old black preacher in the pulpit
City of angels burning ‘round
And he says, “I will still preach the good news
after this old Baptist church burns down”
‘Cause you don’t know when the hour comes
and the Lord calls you home.
Don’t you know we’re all walkin’
Down the Galilee road
Keep on movin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road
keep on walkin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road
A young man lies in the crossroads
In a pool of his own blood
The angry city fell upon him
It all came down like a flood
She lifts his head as he lies dying
She whispers a prayer as his soul goes
Above the city of angels
And a ways on down the Galilee road
Keep on movin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road
keep on walkin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road
Lord I am not an angel
Got feet of clay and a heart of stone
But I will build a new city
Somewhere along the Galilee road
Keep on movin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road
keep on walkin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road
Keep on movin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road
keep on walkin’, a long ways to go, one step forward down the Galilee road
28. Prodigal
Casting Crowns
Living on my own, thinking for myself
Castles in sand, temporary wealth
Walls are falling down, storms are closing in
Tears have filled my eyes, here I am again
And I've held out as long as I can
Now I'm letting go and holding out my hand
Daddy, here I am again, will you take me back tonight
I went and made the world my friend, and it left me high and dry
I dragged Your name back through the mud
That You first found me in
Not worthy to be called Your son
Is this to be my end?
Daddy, here I am
Here I am again
Curse this morning sun, drags me in to one more day
Of reaping what I've sown, of living with my shame
Welcome to my world, and the life that I have made
Where one day you're a prince, the next day your a slave
29. Life Uncommon
Jewel
Don’t worry mother
It’ll be alright
And don’t worry sister
Say your prayers and sleep tight
And it’ll be fine
Lover of mine
It’ll be just fine
Chorus: And lend your voices only
To sounds of freedom
No longer lend your strength
To that which you wish
To be free from
Fill your lives
With love and bravery
And you shall lead
A life uncommon
I’ve heard your anguish
I’ve heard your hearts cry out
We are tired, we are weary
But we aren’t worn out
Set down your chains
Until only faith remains
Set down your chains
There are plenty of people
Who pray for peace
But if praying were enough
It would’ve come to be
Let your words enslave no one
And the heavens will hush themselves
To hear our voices ring our clear
With sounds of freedom
Sounds of freedom
Come on you unbelievers
Move out of the way
There is a new army coming
And we are armed with faith
To live, we must give
To live
30. Prayer of St. Francis
Sarah McLachlan
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace,
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy;
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
Amen
Forgiven (Instrumental)

31. How To Say Goodbye
Michael W Smith
Tell me when the time we had slipped away
Tomorrow turned to yesterday
And I don't know how
Tell me what can stop this river of tears
It's been building up for years
For this moment now
Here I stand
Arms open wide
I've held ya close
Kept ya safe
Till you could fly
Tell me where the road ahead is gonna bend
And how to harness up the wind
And how to say goodbye
Tell me why
Why does following your dreams
Take you far away from me
And I knew that it would
Tell me how to feel the space you left behind
And how to laugh instead of cry
And how to say goodbye
Here I stand
Arms open wide
I've held ya close
Kept ya safe
Till you could fly
Tell me where the road ahead is gonna bend
And how to harness up the wind
And how to say Goodbye
32. Two Teardrops
Steve Wariner
Two teardrops were floatin' down the river
One teardrop said to the other
I'm from the soft blue eyes of a woman in love
I'm a tear of joy she couldn't carry
She was so happy she just got married
I was on her cheek when she wiped me away with her glove
I could tell from the look on her face she didn't need me
So I drifted on down and caught me a ride to the sea
The other tear said we've got a connection
I'm a tear of sorrow born of rejection
I'm from the sad brown eyes of her old flame
She told him they would be lifelong companions
Left him with questions and not any answers
I was on his cheek as he stood there calling her name
I could tell he had a lot of my friends for company
So I drifted on down and caught me a ride to the sea
Oh the ocean's a little bit bigger tonight
Two more teardrops somebody cried
One of them happy and one of them bluer than blue
The tide goes out and the tide comes in
And someday they'll be teardrops again
Released in a moment of pleasure or a moment of pain
Then they drift on down and ride to the sea again
Last night I sat in the waiting room
The nurse walked in and gave me the news
It's a baby girl and they're both fine
An old man sittin' not 10 feet away
Just lost his wife and he said to me
You've got a brand new angel and I've lost mine
I guess the good Lord giveth and the good Lord taketh away
And we both wiped a teardrop from our face
Oh the ocean's a little bit bigger tonight
Two more teardrops somebody cried
One of them happy and one of them bluer than blue
The tide goes out and the tide comes in
A whole new circle of life begins
Where tears are a part of the pleasure and part of the pain
'Til they drift on down and ride to the sea again
Two teardrops floatin' down the river
Two teardrops floatin' down the river
33. Holes In The Floor Heaven
Steve Wariner
One day shy of eight years old that's how you know she's watchin'
My Grandma passed away wishin' she could be here now
I was a broken hearted little boy, and sometimes when I'm lonely
Blowing out that birthday cake I remember she can see
there's holes in the floor of Heaven
How I cried when the sky let go and she's watchin' over you and me
with a cold and lonesome rain
Momma smiled said don't be sad child Well my little girl is 23
Grandma's watchin’ you today I walk her down the aisle
it's a shame her mom can't be here now
'Cause there's holes in the floor of Heaven to see her lovely smile
and her tears are pourin' down
that's how you know she's watchin' They throw the rice
wishin' she could be here now I catch her eye
And sometimes if you're lonely as the rain starts comin' down
just remember she can see she takes my hand says daddy don't be sad
there's holes in the floor of Heaven 'cause I know momma's watchin' now
and she's watchin' over you and me
Seasons come and seasons go And there's holes in the floor of Heaven
nothin' stays the same and her tears are pourin down
I grew up fell in love that's how you know she's watchin'
met a girl who took my name wishin' she could be here now
and sometimes when I'm lonely
Year by year we made a life I remember she can see
in this sleepy little town there's holes in the floor of Heaven
I thought we'd grow old together and she's watchin' over you and me
Lord I sure do miss her now
Watchin' over you and me
But there's holes in the floor of Heaven Watchin' over you and me
and her tears are pourin' down Watchin' over you and me
34. More
Andrew Peterson
(John 12:24)
This is not the end here at this grave
This is just a hole that someone made
Every hole was made to fill
And every heart can feel it still--
Our nature hates a vacuum
This is not the hardest part of all
This is just the seed that has to fall
All our lives we till the ground
Until we lay our sorrows down
And watch the sky for rain
There is more
More than all this pain
More than all the falling down
And the getting up again
There is more
More than we can see
From our tiny vantage point
In this vast eternity
There is more
A thing resounds when it rings true
Ringing all the bells inside of you
Like a golden sky on a summer eve
Your heart is tugging at your sleeve
And you cannot say why
There must be more
There is more
More than we can stand
Standing in the glory
Of a love that never ends
There is more
More than we can guess
More and more, forever more
And not a second less
There is more than what the naked eye can see
Clothing all our days with mystery
Watching over everything
Wilder than our wildest dreams
Could ever dream to be
There is more
